Thanks for the video! two points : first the back button is there whether I got to the page drilling through or just click on the page standalone. Second, the drill through page remembers the filters even if I return to its stand alone without drilling through. Would like to see those fixed. P.s. And also it would be awesome if the slicers would show the filter values

Still waiting on slicer settings being carried along *if desired* as 'state' when you drill. Customer asks about that often. Sounds like slicer state is being worked on though based on some of the notes I saw for PASS.

Hello ... I Just LOVED this idea and I have 2.67.5404.581 64-bit (March 2019) version of Power BI and somehow the bookmark thing just doesn't work.. I don't even see the hide icon on click event Can you please help me with it.. Hey Patrik, I have a requirement of drill-through on card visual, which I could achieve easily for the simple measures for the card visual. But for the measures which are the combination of 2 measures, I am unable to get the exact count in the drill-through page. Can you help me with this. Thanks.

i have a question and its unrelated but i dunno where else to ask. i have a clustered column chart, IDs as an axis and 4 different values that are lab analysis results. i also have a date column which indicates when analysis was made. we run periodical lab analysis on those IDs that are basically samples so the data is going to be periodically updated. i need my report to show LATEST values for the IDs whenever i refresh report. there are options to show maximum or minimum or sum of the values per ID, but i need the report to show me the up to date info, that being latest lab results for each ID that will be updated on my source excel file. is there any way to do that?
When I click the back button it does go back to the source. But when I click the tab for details, the results are still filtered. Is there a way for the filter to be removed, when clicking the back button? And what are the options available for clearing the filter on the detail page after having clicked on the "drill through" from the source page?

I've created a USA map showing percentages of infants born with hearing loss by state and want to drill through to a second page that shows the states percentages compared to the national average. When I do a drill through to the second page, Power BI defaults to reflect to show only one state. Can I set it up the drill through so that I can chose any state from the map and the drill though tool show every state compared against the national average?

Hello Patrick, I would like to drill through from a gauge visual. I have a bunch of gauge visuals on one page, and I would like to drill through to a second page that has details behind the gauge. So far, I have not been successful. Is it possible to drill through from a Gauge visual?

Because they haven't functionality of Right click, so users are not able to use it on touch screen devices. Can you suggest a way out to use drillthrough option with the touchscreen?

Still a big problem with drill through pages is the fact you can only use them for drill through - you cannot give the user the ability to change the selection from a slicer on the same page. Not everyone wants to expose the filter pane in their solutions

Experienced developer, new to PBI. So, this is great if you want a prefab drillthrough. What if you want the end user viewing this to choose the parameter for drilling through? For example, provide a grid with a dropdown with a list of field labels and when you click on a row in the grid it drills using the field selected in the dropdown.
@guy in a cube Jus wanted to ask this Hope you have answer for this:- I have a PowerBI report that contains bar graphs that date and other information and a Bing Map that is linked with the bar graph. Now the bing map contains latitude and longitude and some other information like date, and it has the same date column that is used inside the bar graphs. Now I am using a drill through feature here which drill through the map when I select a bar graph and use any of the data visuals inside the map to drill through, now when I drill through this other page contains different information of the bar graph like date and other things. The problem is when I use drill through on a certain visual inside a map I dont get the exact date that is shown inside the tool tip of the map and the bargraph, thats why because I have the same longitude and latitude that contains different dates and the drill through feature is just showing me the latest date of that longitude and latitude, how can I make this useful so that I get the exact date which I can see earlier on the tooltip of the map and the bar graph any suggestions will be helpful.

Hate the pie charts as it's hard to distinguish which are the larger amounts. Gets worse when there are lots of slices.
