RIP Bill such a wonderful gifted song writer
Bill Bourne is one of the great singer/songwriter/guitarists. He has
over a dozen albums and they are a treasure trove of incredible examples
of brilliant guitar work and lyrics. I've seen him live on numerous
occasions and strongly recommend that you make a point of seeing him
when he's at a venue near you. I will never understand why this Canadian
hasn't become an international sensation.
Bill Bourne is a gift to real music, and also a fine and entertianing musician. I shared a bill with him near Berkeley, California a few yeara ago and was so pleased by his deep and fearless yet compassionale style. With such a great variety of talents Bill should be better known. I hope he comes back to the USA sooner than later.
I agree he should have been better known.... I happen to know him now after he just passed away, heard by chance on cbc Canada. What a great musician he was, almost unknown!

Unfortunately, good music like Bill's never gets air play... everything has to be pablemized. Although the occasional song stands out, too much of it sounds like it is all the same artist. You can't mistake Bill Bourne for anyone else... and I mean that in the most positive way.
Will be interviewing him very soon from India. yes he is a genius ...a gem .n what a great guy .
