I ADORE CLASSIC CORRIE!!! It’s before my time but the dialogue and acting are absolutely wonderful
All every calming
The actor leading the singing in the pub played Bill Seaton, brilliantly, in When The Boat Comes In. He also appeared in Corrie in the 1990s, and died well into his 90s quite recently - Bill Garbutt.
This is a brilliant episode. I love the singing scene in it and I keep going back to it.
Albert would have been pleased by how much more the WW1 soldiers are revered now compared to then.
Gotta love the Geordie lads , plus the dad from When the boat comes in.
Back in the days when Corrie had some rather lovely men in it. Billy, Ray, Len, Alan....
Annie “BETTY! Can’t hear a word I’m saying for the hideous row you’re making.” Could be Hilda!!
Its a lovely jacket that Elsie has wonder where I could get it from for my mum
Another enjoyable episode. Wonder how it all turned out with Elsie's sinister step son?
Those Geordies know how to party.Wish good old England was still like this.
Get stuffed
12:20
Lucille impersonating Annie Walker "Oh she said"
"Parking meters; those things with the big heads".
Minnie is hilarious 😂
Yes she was ,I always thought that she was quite nice and quiet. She could hold her own especially with ena sharples.
Really like billy in these episodes.
The scene in the Rovers seems to be done in one take
4:05 Bobby Caldwell popped into see a cartoon about mice. He thought it was a documentary 😂❤😸😂😺❤😺
Love coronation street ♥ 1 fan micheál
Perfect TV - every single second.
Completely opposite to 2023 of course.
The boys are really rocking those cut down polo necks 😂😂😂😂😂
I was only 10 when this went out - i was probably in my room playing with my yoyo
@Kuchi Kopi Oh wow you type good for your age
Annie walker is full of guile
Ena Sharples... the original Wild Snorlax
Isn't the little girl who plays Susan in this episode the same actress who played Susan when she returned to marry Mike Baldwin?
Yes it was, though she did not last long in the 80s.
Elsies step son is a louse - the type you would only go out with on a week night
17.42 Thought it was ‘Jimmy’ actually,
"Little girls should be seen and not heard".
Nice one Val, comments like that caused a generation of women to think they were inferior.
I hated that saying when I was a child.a lot of the adults used to say that including my own mum
Most of the men tinted their hair , funny and bad !!
Hes old another to see who he wants
Joseph and today
1933.
