I don't know how you could be disappointed in this new Genos. Seems to good and fantastical to be true? The sounds and backing are absolutely amazing. Adore the organ sound especially. Yamaha have come up with an absolute gem of a keyboard. We'll done Yamaha

I'm hard to please. And I've tried some of the best and most expensive instruments and VST plugins on the planet. And this is genuinely IMPRESSIVE!! Both sounds- and programming-wise, but also in the performances of the gentleman playing in the video! Wow!!
The VERY FIRST composition kept me here ... the Middle Eastern flair is always a sound that captivates me. Every improvisation was amazing and did very well to showcase the instruments capabilities. (I personally would have chosen a Rhodes / 73 Studio for the Jazz demo IMPO but that's me.) Great job. I have a Roland Arranger workstation, but alas it is aging and the accompaniment section of this arranger sounds amazing. Maybe Santa will stuff one in my - er rather - one hella huge stocking! 😂
What an amazing keyboard! I own a PSR-SX900 right now, and if anyone were to ask how it compares to this, it's not even close. Genos2 is by far the best arranger workstation keyboard ever made. With a USB audio interface built in, I will no longer have to plug in my external one that I got for the SX900. I purchased the SX900 in May of this year, not realizing that this masterpiece would be coming any time soon.

Das SX900 hat ja viele schöne Sounds und Möglichkeiten, aber grundsätzlich keine Super Artikulation 2. Ebenso ist der Speicherplatz für externe Sounds begrenzt und es gibt auch weder Revo drums, noch Audio drums.

Well, this is much better to hear than another of those 3 manual monster organs with someone playing 1960's easy listening FM Stereo rotation tunes. Still a lot of magic chord type automation going on, but the sound textures, really excellent.
Great demo - really gets to the point: the Styles. Well done. No waffling, just a straight demonstration. Wonderful arranger keyboard. Almost certainly out of my price range, but it's the dream. Would love to hear more chilled, laid-back Latin styles. Also: great performances, too!
The guitar sounds on this keyboard are absolutely the best I've ever heard, keyboards often struggle with even half decent guitar sounds let alone the elements in the note changes. Especially with the electric and country guitars! The saxes & DX sounds are just delicious too. At 5 grand, this one's definitely outta my price range though.

What a versatile keyboard and the instrument sounds are so true to life although, having said that, the DX7 sounds are much better than they ever were on an actual DX7.
It's the advanced FM synthesis from the SY77. More operators, more wave forms, more complex sounds. Okay, there are more things possible, Böhm did it this way, they combined FM synthesis with velocity layers and with different sounds in different key zones.

The comparison is unfair, pricing wise, the SX900 is about 1/3 of the Genos2 .
