Hi.... AL and GINA nice to see you Love watching your video homestead beautiful great good job BYE 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
Water management - which also means water runoff management has got to be the hardest job on rural property. I thought it was picking rocks! Boy was I wrong. Kudos to all the Township workers for a great job they have done. Also saw humanity at work last weekend - A foreign family lost power on their boat and a bunch of people at a party jumped up, brought the boat to shore, Fed the women and children, went and got the trailer, loaded the boat and helped them back to town! People did this without even complaining and got the job done. This is what humanity is suppose to do to help each other. Everyone have a great weekend!!
Love to watch never miss a showing
That brought tears to my eyes.. YES, SO many unsung heroes. 🙏
Thanks for sharing this story. It's great to hear how people come together when there is a crisis! Blessings to you and all of the community!
Hail storm over a garden that was supposed to help raise money for community outreach programs as part of a Master Gardener's Tour brought help out of the woodwork. I was proud of my community!
@@StoneKathryn👋 🫂 👋
That gravel truck driver is GOOD! ❤
You guys did get a lot of rain. You did a good job fixing your road. That truck driver did a good job spreading rock. Great video. 👍❤️
East texan here, beryl gave us 13 tornado's. Over 2 million out of power. And also a lot of rain in places. She was a wicked storm and she traveled a long long way. Prayers for everyone affected by beryl.
Wow 😲! Prayers 🙏🏼 for Texas and all effected by Hurricane 🌀 Beryl !
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching
You’re the only homesteader that showed helping your community! Thank you❤
Wild Wonderful Off-grid ( entire family ) did the same community help, after a storm in their area, a few months ago !
@@4Classie I’ll follow them
@@4Classie Great family.
Check out Arms Family homestead....Major tornado damage in Oklahoma.....They helped the community the next day till now and it's still a mess...Great channel and wonderful family too
I live about an hour north of Houston, where the eye wall passed. It was a crazy ride, but we made it with minimal damage. Just a huge mess to clean up from all the wind. We were lucky, but I can’t say that for everyone around us.
Glad you guys are ok!!
I'm from NW Houston (Tomball). We had 2.3 million house/families with our power for several days in Harris county. Some still don't have power. Where I'm at we didn't have water either for five days. And without power many of the gas stations didn't have gas to run generators. Trees down all over and power lines laying in the ground. But this is all just par for the course for living down here. Glad you guys are ok and doing well!!! Thanks for giving us something to do/watch on our phones during all the craziness!!!
I had a large limb blown off my Oak tree . This limb is about 20 inches in diameter where it was attached to the tree trunk and about 40 feet long. It took out half of the seven foot chain link fence that was around my garden . It will be a major job to repair the fence .
Community Service does not always have to be court-ordered! Al, along with the others who pitched in to repair roads and generally help people in all ways after this disaster, show a perfect example of Service to Others right from the heart. God bless you all, and my prayers and good thoughts go out to everyone affected by Beryl.
The Lumnah's are also on Littleton's Food Pantry board of managers !
@@4Classie That is wonderful to know, and truly, I am not surprised. The Lumnahs bless so many of us in countless ways.
If they are allowed, our community had a disaster in 1998 and people were told not to help by the powers that be.
@@mimiso516
Whereas I agree with your assertation, you misinterpreted what I stated, Mimi; Al is a manager of food bank and could be personally involved with additional food banks, I also guess' that Lumnah Eggs ( maybe more ) are contributed to the needy, and I know' by expectation, _ that Gina also likewise contributes to community !
Hello from Germany. This has been a crazy year here in Europe, too. I'm in the North, where we've mostly dealt with winds and downed trees this year and last. My thoughts and prayers to all of you there. As many people have already said - community is everything. Pulling together in times of need is what humanity should be about. Kudos and prayers to all.
No storm is going to keep you down!!!
You are an icon for positive thinking.
I was very surprised that you got a dump truck delivery so soon after the storm! You got lucky.
Praying for you and the family and all the people in your area
Al, I'm sure your community efforts will be rewarded. Country life is all about helping your neighbours and pitching in on a larger scale when required.
Everyone benefits.
We are from Mt Vernon Indiana a factory got damaged pretty bad, train turned over on side, tore barns up, ripped traffic lights up. Tore trees down. stay safe God bless
Good Morning Lumnah's! We're in NE IL. Hurricane Beryl did a job up here. 26 tornadoes on Sunday, 4 on Monday. Luckily the worse missed us on Sunday, heavy, heavy rain and winds on Monday. Also, we are on a high point; others in our little burg have flooded basements and days without power. There are ups and downs to every area. Digging water lines and trenching for you is so hard with all the rock. But with that comes businesses who can supply the rock fill and gravel needed for repairs. Things can be replaced/repaired. Bless all those working hard to help others.
Thank you Al, for being helpful to your community. Thank you for keeping Brutus in the barn when you and stone delivery truck are working; he needs to be Safely watching his livestock. I hope he doesn’t learn to escape just to be near you. Gina, we didn’t see you this video, but I’ll bet you are baking now that it is not as hot as it was! Video was great, Al.
No need to be sorry , Al . it was a good movie . You ran equipment. You helped fix a main road . I like that . Will keep you in our prayers . Seeya .
Prayers and Blessings to all affected due to mother nature.
Thanks for making a difference to your neighbors. We can’t just take care of ourselves. Blessings.
Don’t worry about the length of the video!!! You and your community are dealing with far far greater things than a video right now! I live in VA where we get devastating results from hurricanes frequently so I understand!! My thoughts and most importantly my prayers are with you all!! 🙏♥️🙏♥️
Ditto. the Lumnahs are the kind of neighbors you want nearby when disaster strikes. They are blessed AND a blesssing.
We had the bad side hit us in Texas. We were lucky. No major damage. Just tree damage. Many were not so lucky. No electricity for many for 2 or 3 weeks. Seeing the results in your world are crazy. First I have seen or heard where yall are at. Fun with weather. Take care yall. Be safe. Enjoy seeing yall.
Huge hugz to all of you suffering from all the damage. I'm lifting you up in prayer.
My heart goes out to not only you guys but so many others affected by Beryl! 💖 SO MANY!!! I'm so glad the impact on you was comparably minimal. I know another huge swath of heavy rain has come through your area again since then and I cannot imagine how that has turned out. God Bless you guys and everyone affected by these storms. My area was affected too but gratefully not too badly. I live in NW Ohio.
MY FAVORITE NH OFF GRID UA-cam FAMILY! Gooood Morrrrrrrning Lumnahs AL Gina Olivia and subscriber friends and family! I pray 🙏🏼 everyone has a blessed Saturday and weekend and week ahead! 🙏🏼 👍🏼😁👍🏼

Great job road building...You are a champion.
Thanks for the video watching from Reno NV it's really dry out here. there is no rain out west
Good Morning Everyone‼️ Thank Goodness Al that you have the equipment needed to fix the storm damage. Take care and God bless. ♥️🙏🤗
I live in Humble, Texas and we were without power for 9 days. Thank God we have a Generator and fiber internet. The kids played their games, and we had AC that made it ok.
I'm so glad you got through with some bit of comfort! Good planning on your part. Stay blessed!

Hello there to all you wonderful caring people. Blessings on your endeavors to help others in your communities!
That's so nice that you were able to help the town/state guys with rebuilding. Thankfully here in southern NH(Jaffrey), Beryl went around us and we didn't get hit by that weather.
Gooooooooooood morning, Al & Gina. Glad you guys are safe.
You've been through so much, yet your thoughts are on others. You're a good person Al. Your beautiful wife and daughter also. A wonderful thing to see these days
Good morning. Officially not a hurricane but the rements of one. Lots of rain out of that storm.
That trucker dumping stone was good!!
😀😀👍👍❤❤ Thanks for all you do! Plus, filming, editing and narrating! Bye for now from Seattle, WA.
Hello Al Gina ‼️ good evening from India,, you are doing the perfect thing. It’s very important to keep the maintenance going. . Small expense is ok . Praying for people who took the brunt of Beryl !!
Thanks for sharing with us!! We appreciate anything you share with us!!
About 2 months ago my county in Middle TN was the hardest hit in a storm that had 4 rotations go over it. It looked just as bad after as your area. There was some people that where stuck for almost a week due to culverts being washed out. Sending well wishes to you, your family, and your county.
Great job spreading the gravel Al looks good 👍🏻
Glad you’re ok & all the animals made it through 👍👏
Omigosh I had no idea that a hurricane could have that much strength all the way across the country. Really amazing. I hope all affected by Beryl is able to recover and thrive.
It not just high winds. Tropical storms over land still drop immense amounts of rainfall. Hurricane Irene in August of 2011 left massive flooding damage in New England
Damage was felt in Nova Scotia as well , major rain , one area got hit really bad , a young boy was swept away , and unfortunately died . Glad you had little damage , water stops for nothing !!
Awesome 😊🙏👍❤
North Indiana, we got 6 1/2 inches in one day. My property was protected by a ditch that took all the runoff. The rain was followed up by several tornados touching down in the area. That cleanup is ongoing. Thank goodness for my whole house natural gas generator!!! Today, 7/20, they are lifting the flood warnings for the St. Joe river that flows right thru this town of 100k. I can not complain, so many got it worse.
My heart goes out to anyone affected by the flooding, good morning from Scotland.
Good Morning Sweet Family!! ☕️⚘️🦋
Good morning Lumnah Acres … a big thank to you going out to help in your community.😊😊😊😊
Good morning, Martin my friend... Nicely said!
That's our guy! 😅
When the hurricane hit us here in Texas, many had flooding. But as it moved more into our area, we had not only rain but tornadoes as well. We had so many, that it was just nonstop warnings and take shelter. It was a wild day for us.
I'm glad you survived it. I guess I'm assuming the tornadoes didn't get you? That would be very scary! Stay blessed!
Good morning Al, Gina, Olivia and all the Lumnah friends. Wishing everyone a good weekend
Wow Al so sorry for all that damage on your roads. This is unreal the damage in your State. God Bless you all and I pray it all gets fixed quickly.
God Bless You and Your Family. Praying for You all.
It's great that your community came together to help each other
It's good that they can. In many communities only union workers are allowed to help (and be richly compensated). [Personal experience- even the Red Cross was told to stand down until the higher ups/ governor had done their evaluation. So much wasted time]
Pennsylvania and Ohio here. High winds, a bit of rain but our area was spared. 6 yrs ago we had the same thing happen from a storm. God bless and keep you safe.
G’day 😊 it’s always heartbreaking to see and hear what damage gets done after a natural disaster 😢 it’s kind of you to take out your machinery to the community to help others out 😊👍

Al, Gina,Olivia quite the storm you experienced, good luck restoring your property and helping neighbors. Episodes like this are a shock to everyone but lessons learned thru planning will strengthen your reserve. 🙏🙏🙏
An interesting video as always, our thoughts are with your family, God bless.
Love and prayers for you, the family, and your community. So sorry for their losses.
We had over 13 inches in VA, flooding was an issue for many. Praying for you and your family as you work to recover from the storms. Praising God that it was not worse.
A lot of work now and some more equipment is needed in the future. Good luck, Al.

Prayers for your community's recovery from the storm. God bless
Al don't apologize. Your video showed ehats going on. Hope everyone can rebuild and is safe.
Good Saturday mornin New Yolk🥚City .... Beryl certainly caused some havoc across the country. I can only hope folks are able to recover🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Also hoping you guys don't have damage at the ponds etc. Have a nice weekend AL, Gina & Olivia .... take care🚜
Good morning, y'all. Have a blessed day.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of your property.
Road work looks great
Having the equipment needed to help yourself and then others is a real asset at such times. Being willing to help shows great community spirit.

Good morning!
Have a good weekend. I'm happy that your family and homestead are fine. God bless.

You were lucky to be able to get stone so fast considering all the washed out public roads. Glad your place didn't suffer much. I think it is mostly because you have natural floodplains that keep the water from raging in most places.
Good afternoon Lumnah family from a warm but not tropical Minnesota. Good afternoon viewers. So cool that you are helping other people but you have to get out of your road first. You have to repair the road first! You greased the excavator too! Good you got some 3 minus down first and 1 1/2 on top! Nice dump truck driver! He spread it out for you! You did a good job crowning on the road. Wow, that top rock looks nice and the dump truck driver did a nice job laying it down. More rain! Wow, main road washed out a bit! I'm glad your farm fared well with the big rain! Thanks for this video Lumnah family!

Wow, so sorry about all of the water problems! 😮
Yer lil' MiniEx is a trooper!
Glad you're keeping up on your homestead. You sure have a lot of energy. Wondering if you also have alot of upkeep on the homestead, where you were living?
There were two dams that burst, one in ILLINOIS and one in MINNESOTA. When Hurricane Gaston came through VIRGINIA downtown Richmond Va was flooded then in Hanover Va, where I lived at the time, I was heading home during the massive downpour and right after a cross what is called they Wayside bridge, it collapsed the 2nd vehicle behind me went in the water 😢 driver died😢 14 roads in Hanover County Va were washed out that day, massive sections of roads just gone. I totally the stress of having to go all around town to get to what use to be a 10 minute ride.
Good Morning Lumnah Acres, Hope all is well as could be, Stay safe and may God bless you, As we all need a little blessing in our lives.
Illinois here. We live on the Fox River. We got tons of rain and wind. A power line transformer (I think) came down and we lost power for about six hours or so, but our house sits up high on the bank, so no danger of our house flooding. The DNR has issued a directive prohibiting boating till the level drops a bit. There are a few large pieces of debris floating by. Two of our close neighbors had mid sized trees that snapped in half.
Good morning, everyone!!
Good morning, Chris!
Awesome job on getting the road fixed up. Looking good too. Keep up the great work.
