If this is the future of disc golf it's exciting. First CCDG with arm speeds, distances, great film and great commentators. All 4 of the players on this card are throwing absolute bombs and just amazing competition. If I could add one thing, it is that in the second and third rounds, CCDG doesn't need to commentate on the hole shape as much because it is a little repetitive from the first round and instead you should highlight any stats on the hole, any aces or the average score on it to give us a bit more understanding on how hard it has been for the people. Also when you are discussing the wind speed, it would be great to have an highlight of how much it is, 15mph? Those kind of data points add detail to the efforts. These are minor suggestions though.
Yeah. It's evolving fast and the demand is there and sales are up funding more evolution....rinse and repeat. Started playing last summer at 56....... Hooked.
CCDG is killing it. Absolutely top-notch production. But pleast update your website - it's still stuck on 2021 lol and I want to know what you're covering this year because I am definitely going to watch it!!!
Shout out to Filo yet again for epic commentary. Stellar production as always. I noticed the amazing angles and how the photographer used the natural light to create wonderful shots. Love it!
Hell yea, super fun being there bummed I had to leave earlier but I saw the film crew so I’d knew I could watch when I get home! Thanks for posting and can’t wait to watch tomorrow
7:20 to 7:55 we might not ever witness again. Hopefully. Eagle 🦅 playing so beautifully then having missed what has to be the shortest two putts in a row for his career is something straight out the Twighlight Zone. Disc golf doesn’t care how great of a player anyone is..every once in a while it bites us all.
I’ll tell ya as someone who probably has 20 rounds at goat hill… the drive from Jacob on 12 is more impressive than 10 by a lot. I’ve seen guys that don’t throw nearly as hard as Jacob get around where he was on 10 with savvy use of stability. You very rarely see people where he was on 12.
Not gonna lie. In the front 9, every time you said rock for his last name I was thinking he was throwing a roc. I thought philo was loving this guy throwing roc's all over this course hahaha 😆
@@Windeltorte I didn't intentionally read the comments, but your comment was at the top, and I could see it immediately in portrait mode on my phone before I turned my phone to make the video full screen.
Next time you feel like you just can't sink a putt. Watch Eagle dink two in a row, reminds us we are humans and it's easy to stink at putting lol. Then he continues his putting clinic.
Pretty sure he says knurl. Get that little knurl back to the basket. Which isn't even close to what that word actually means lol but its a great little philoism
verbal crutches are so annoying. He was previously on that "taper off" one. Terry Miller used to say "however" after every single shot. Thankfully he improved. Hope the same for Philos commentary.
I think he knows what he is saying, he kinda does his own thing as far as lingo and making up disc golf terms. What the heck is a cut swing, never heard that one before. It's just an anny shot tho
Much rather watch frisbees flying! Than watching an oblong ball being kicked and thrown while dudes fight to make it past eachother with more pads than a nascar driver. Rugby is way more physical than football and they wear no pads.
I hate to be the complaining type, but listening to Philo is getting more difficult as time goes. He used to be a more laid-back commentator, but as of most recently, he's getting so full of it. He talks too much and sounds so brash, not much better in person either. Ian, you're so much better without him. Philo, CHILL OUT and take a breath, dear lord. Try not being a know it all, it's really annoying!

For those that watch every round it does get repetitive, but not everyone watches every round so it makes sense to keep breaking down the hole

Super Bowl pregame or disc golf. Not even a contest. Great work guys. Kick ass, Cody!

Ty and Ty for the reminder! 😂🤦🏼♂️
11/10 commentary. Thank you CCDG!
My discs may have gone 70 plus mph. But only on the interstate on the way to the course when I’m running late for tee time
Watching Courtis consistently out-drive Eagle was pretty dang impressive.
Eagle didn’t use full power, he said in his vlog that he prefers precision over power, he only threw like 75-80 percent power
Connor Rock was a very good college disc golfer that was on the PDGA coverage for Nationals
You guys understand this is like the best commentary ever 🤌🏼 Ian and Philo together are elite 🙏🏼
It's clear Courtis models his putting routine by watching Nikko footage.
Also his drives off the tee. He shuffles his feet just like Nikko. A lot of similarities.
This is absolutely great quality coverage
Thank you Ian and CCDG crew Peter out there catching all the best shots. Hats off to another banger boys
"Whale down" 😆

@@martinakamatu yes, of course. My apologies 😊
My favorite coverage. You guys are so great at talking the technical and mindgame elements while flowing with the play.
Love the commentary, thanks for the coverage!!

That Whale Sac died a hero 😂
Great coverage and commentary
Thank you!
Great watch!
Perfect timing! Finished the front right as this one dropped. Thanks for the coverage guys :)

RIP Whale Sac
That drive from cupcake on 10 was probably the most impressive raw power I’ve ever seen in this sport

Disc golf doesn’t care how great of a player anyone is..every once in a while it bites us all.
And he still shot 1060!😮
Just glad he didn't punch the ground and break his hand again.
literally this whole round I thought they were calling him "Mr. Roc" and that he was throwing a Roc. No...his last name is rock...
i love philo
Ian & Philo > Big Jerm & Uli
Precisely! Just solid commentating. No bullshit rambling or stupid jokes.
He's taking a minute? Or more? That's not fair to let one person have more time than anyone else.
First it was broken claw stamp, now I'm waiting for broken whale sac stamp..
That whale sack died a hero had me balling in laughter. 🎉
Cupcake threw 788’ 😳😳😳😳😳 OK, it was down hill and he got a good roll, BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT……. 788’ WHAT ???? Thanks for the coverage CCDG ❤

I have the exact same bag as Rock. Same color, same amount of fade. Kind of did a double take at 3:32.
We need a cupcake count

This game won’t build your character but it sure does show it. Good job, Rock.
Let’s gooooo eagle!!!
I'd like to know what that yellow putter or mid that Kirkland's been throwing all weekend is.
Champ Roc3 (Big bird run)
Flightwise, I thought it could be a luster Invader ...
Panties are fresh out the dryer, Philo. 😆
Sideshow Bob can crush!
Spoiler alert (due to some very constructive feedback 😉)...
...Eagle threeputs and still hot round with 11 under, what a legend!
Thanks for letting me know so I don't have to watch the video 😒
Feel free to lead with “spoiler alert”.
I am sorry for that. But, why would you first read the comments? Anyways, I will add your constructive feedback 😁
@@Windeltorte I didn't intentionally read the comments, but your comment was at the top, and I could see it immediately in portrait mode on my phone before I turned my phone to make the video full screen.
@@ShawnSchulz Sorry, really didn't mean to spoil it for you. Is the final round out allready?
Kirkland got too small of feet to maintain balance or something. Seems like every putt he's about to topple over
Noticed that too. Like his timing is off or something. Luke does the same thing. Makes for a lot of misses.
what does "whiff diff" overall champion mean?
That poor whale sac...
32:44 Jump putting into a steep slope seems impossible to do without foot fault, especially since you are used to the timing on flatter ground.
Yep, definite foot fault.
Cupcake takes so long the advertisements only played when he’d putt 😅
I saw at least 2 foot faults by Rock on his step putt....
Anybody knows if there will be FPO Coverage as well?
Donk donk donk donk
Shapement?

Wasn’t eagle throwing a DD1 on hole 10?
Looked like the new stratosphere dd1
i think it might be a prototype horizon cloudbreaker (dd3)
no chance into the headwind on 10
