always a good day when Layze uploads 😊 i had to have surgery when i was 17 and because of a condition i have (Ehlers-Danlos) my tissue heals slower. they couldn't get me stop bleeding during surgery and i ended up needing multiple blood transfusions over a 24 hour period to save my life. i wish so badly i could know who donated that blood because i would be singing their praises for the rest of my life, i'm so incredibly thankful to them still after 14 years. i can't imagine getting a whole ass organ and then just acting like it's nothing, i would be pissed too. at least Francia is getting some recognition even if it isn't from the person who should be giving it to her

I have polycystic kidney disease. My kidney function is now declining. I've had my 17 year old niece as well as my roommate offer me their kidneys if we were a match. I told my niece no bc she's just a baby even if we were a match I just could not do that to her. But if my roommate happens to be a match, when the time comes, NEVER COULD I EVER FORGET HER ! Especially if I was famous ! I would be name dropping her in EVERY CHANCE I GOT !! Selena Gomez is horrible for this !!

We had her at our listen appreciation concert (LAC) right as she was first blowing up and she was so sweet and humble. Then 2 years later we wanted her to come back she said she didn’t play “I only play arenas now. You can’t afford me” but she would still come into the station with her “handlers” to get her singles on the radio for the next year and now she’s too cool for even that. Which is so not cool. Even huge artist like Luke Bryan still come into the studio to pitch their singles to the PD (program director, the PDs of radio stations decide who they play on their stations and artist need to have a good relationship with them. Artists need radio. It’s still a big deal. Streaming I think will eventually take over fully but for now radio stations still play a huge role in an artists careers. It’s kinda a lot to explain if you don’t know the workings but that’s the host

There's a program called NEAD (Selena would have likely been aware of) where Selena could have found any friend (compatible or incompatible) willing to donate a kidney. The program matches up multiple donors and multiple recipients until there are compatible matches for everyone needing a kidney. If Selena had used her celebrity status, she could have found a more willing donor and helped many people get kidneys all while saving her own life. I understand it's her personal choice though... I will also say, never give anyone anything that you don't mind parting with...

i had to have surgery when i was 17 and because of a condition i have (Ehlers-Danlos) my tissue heals slower. they couldn't get me stop bleeding during surgery and i ended up needing multiple blood transfusions over a 24 hour period to save my life. i wish so badly i could know who donated that blood because i would be singing their praises for the rest of my life, i'm so incredibly thankful to them still after 14 years. i can't imagine getting a whole ass organ and then just acting like it's nothing, i would be pissed too. at least Francia is getting some recognition even if it isn't from the person who should be giving it to her

I have polycystic kidney disease. My kidney function is now declining. I've had my 17 year old niece as well as my roommate offer me their kidneys if we were a match. I told my niece no bc she's just a baby even if we were a match I just could not do that to her.

We had her at our listen appreciation concert (LAC) right as she was first blowing up and she was so sweet and humble. Then 2 years later we wanted her to come back she said she didn’t play “I only play arenas now. You can’t afford me” but she would still come into the station with her “handlers” to get her singles on the radio for the next year and now she’s too cool for even that. Which is so not cool. Even huge artist like Luke Bryan still come into the studio to pitch their singles to the PD (program director, the PDs of radio stations decide who they play on their stations and artist need to have a good relationship with them. Artists need radio. It’s still a big deal. Streaming I think will eventually take over fully but for now radio stations still play a huge role in an artists careers. It’s kinda a lot to explain if you don’t know the workings but that’s the host

There's a program called NEAD (Selena would have likely been aware of) where Selena could have found any friend (compatible or incompatible) willing to donate a kidney. The program matches up multiple donors and multiple recipients until there are compatible matches for everyone needing a kidney. If Selena had used her celebrity status, she could have found a more willing donor and helped many people get kidneys all while saving her own life. I understand it's her personal choice though...
I will also say, never give anyone anything that you don't mind parting with...
