you can hear the difference between Jack’s playing and guys that constantly shred ! he’s a very melodic player...he can obviously shred when he wants to but he doesn’t over do it like a lot of players these days...it’s not just about how fast you can play.. it’s about playing each note with dynamics ! Jack has that gift !!
I agree 100%. I watched some other guy demoing and he had that horrible mechanical shred style with no feeling or sense of melody or space. This guy plays MUSIC and guitar just happens to be his tool, as opposed to shred robot tools who make tooling sounds which is NOT music.

I had never heard of him before and came here for the GT-100 which I'm considering buying, even though it's old by 21st century standards. Jack is fantastic, what a beautiful, melodic player. Incredible feel and control. He should be as well known as any of the Joes, Johns and Steves imho. Just incredible. Oh and yeah, I'm having it!

I love that you spent a considerable amount of time on a clean patch and stepped your way up the gain stages. Thanks!!
What I like about this pedalboard is that it concentrates the best of BOSS's pedals. And it has a particularity: it allows you to hear the guitar, it is kind of transparent and plays very well with amplifiers. I love it. Not the kind of DSP or DAW for guitar modern thing. No, this is old school great quality analog stuff. And what a better experience than being played by one of the greatest guitarists on earth, Jack Thammarat.

First of all when I am checking out demos of products,I don't really care what the race of the demonstrator IS. What I'm looking for is someone who can really demo the product!! With that said,Jack Thammarat is a fine guitarist and does a wonderful job demoing this product. Listening,I hear him going through many of the patches that most (or some) of us may use.This is how a domo should be,not somebody just going through all of thr metal sounds of the product. Thanks, Jack,GREAT demo.
This video is pure inspiration. every time i put a JackThammarat video on i just sit here wishing i knew how to play as well as he could along with him.
+mkaali the me80 is okay honestly, the pre amp section sucks, some of the effects are weak compared to the gt100. Once you try the gt100 the me80 will feel like a toy, the gt100 is a sturdy pedal, made to last, I love the dual screen, the effects and ODs are awesome, gives you the ability to use the 4CM so you have more control of your the effects chain.
I think there are a few good models in the Pre-Amp section, but yep mostly crap. And the same applies to Distortion section. But you can do a lot with the EQ, it can change the whole sound. You can check a song of mine: /watch?v=Zn9UjZiawMw . All the guitars were done with ME80, and only little post effects. Are the distortions/amps any better in gt100? How about the reverbs? I think the reverbs in ME80 are not that great
+Mario Murillo The M-series have been obsolete for a while. I love the loop feature on the gt-100. I have shifted to Line6 for it's simplicity of programing interface the last 10 years and because of Andy Summers-long story- But the gt-100 looks very nice next to my old VX700 Roland. It's like synth meets efx 35 years after. Sweet rig and a must have!

The problem is.... that you have a TON of settings to manage before getting the same sound. Then all is expression and great playing :)

just got mine, is such a great pedal dude, I sold the me80 to get this one, the gt100 is such a great piece of equipment.
