Mistakes: I used CPVC instead of PVC.

As a the owner of several aquariums i can tell you one tip:
Cut your test strips in half vertically & they will last twice as long.

What size pipe connected the hoses on the outside? I ordered all the parts and the hose is exactly the same 1” diameter and will not slip over the PVC.
I don’t remember! I now use this as an antenna I will see if I can measure it. Note that I used the wrong kind of pvc I think I mentioned that in the video. We upgraded to a non inflatable pool and it was well worth it. Same footprint.

I could not take a picture but basically I had cpvc which is smaller and then I wrapped electrical tape around it a LOT to make a bump that I could clamp the hose onto. The original video I watched the dude said that normal PVC = “tight fit” but doable. Cpvc is smaller than pvc and I think the measurements are inside not outside diameters

Did you fill the water up to the water max hight indicator line? The long side walls of your pool looks sturdy and straight. Our pool of same size, the long side walls bow outward. Any idea why?
I had the same thing happen to me Haidi and Al Wang! I wasn't able to understand why it was doing it either, but you're not alone!
It’s on a slight slope so I tend to keep the water an inch below the fill line. Water is super heavy!
Update: I think over time the weight of the water stretches the plastic and it bows
You need to reinflate the bottom ring if the pool is sagging.
