Foraging Mushrooms- Parasitic Bolete

Important amendment. Thenk you @nickedom for pointing out that this bolete isn’t poisonous, i got over excited seeing it. Should have just double checked the info before blabbering off in my short anyway….This is the first time I've ever seen one of these, they are in the grand scheme of things one of our more rare fungi. Happy boy

All of my books say that the the parasitic bolete is edible, whereas the thing that it grows on is not. Apparently the harmful substances do not get carried over?

You’re are absolutely right. I found it in woodland by chance and got over excited! 😁 I somewhere got the idea they would give you let’s say digestive issues! I’m blaming old age but I filmed it on my phone and got carried away.
