Easy to see what the problems are. We have an offensive line that can't block, and two QBs who can't throw.
Honestly, I would be good with putting in Orji and going back to Bo's triple option. Honestly, I'm not sure defenses would know how to handle it in todays pass-happy era.
They never challenged Grant and Graham. When they were in, they ran wide to make them run and tire them out. When they were out, Texas ran inside. Brilliant game plan by Texas.
They should've been getting top 10 recruiting classes the past 3 years.
Harbaugh left us with the cupboards bare. And Moore hasn’t put the work in to restock those shelves.
Then there is the question of how the coaching has handled the QB evaluation.
Graham also played more snaps than he did last season. These guys were tired.
Just do a power spread with Orji and salvage respectability
Lack of OL execution. Lack of QB play, and lack of DL depth. It’s trouble fellas. They can’t even execute the forward pass.
Poor offensive line, poor quarterbacks, no receiver that can get open or threaten on the deep route, defensive linemen that were gasping for air halfway through the first Texas series on offense, an offensive coordinator that is not up to the job, and a head coach who shows no energy or emotion on the sideline. Other than that things are OK. I watched the OSU game later in the day and with a 49-0 lead Ryan Day was pacing the sideline jawing with the officials because they were not calling holding by WMU. He coached every down regardless of the score and paced the sideline with emotion and energy. The players respond to that intensity. That's what a head coach does. A successful head coach I mean.
Defense got overwhelmed, O line has no idea how to block, QBs are inexperienced and cant throe bc they got pressure within 1.5 seconds of the snap. Sametime though if you want to be in the conversations about being a top 5 program, you gotta be able to reload every year after you lose players. As a Michigan fan im tired of the excuses, time to level up 🤷♂️
The problem is no semblance of a quarterback at all and a terrible offensive line…
Moore is not the guy.
