Another fantastic exploration, Tino. Thank you for all of your hard work....btw, your videos of the Maybach bunkers were what originally drew my attention to your channel! Ever since, I have become yet another diehard follower (and supporter) of your most excellent research! Thank you again for your awesome work!💖 It's first class!👍✨
Awesome Tino....I was always wanting to ask you Tino if ever you feel negative energy in any of the rooms in these bunkers, so eery and yet fascinating because of what took place there...I mean if you were standing in those bunkers you are in Tino 85 years ago you would be shot dead...thanks so much Tino for showing us these awesome bunkers we couldn't see them without ya...thx brother
Sir: The vertical pipe that you called an antenna, was almost certainly NOT an antenna. There were apertures in the pipe, & it is entirely possible that antenna feedlines were carried up & out of the building, to where the actual antennas were located. Vertical antennas are fed at the bottom, & must have a counterpoise (a series of wires radiating out from the base of the antenna, but not connect4ed to it. One side of the feedline is connected to the counterpoise, & the other is connected to the antenna radiator proper)The pipe in question is below ground, surrounded by reinforced concrete, & electrical conduits & wires everywhere, all of which would carry induction currents from the radio frequency energy emitted from the "pipe" , making it nearly impossible to tune, & absorbing the majority of the energy. I suspect that a search in the vicinity of the building by a person knowledgeable of HF radio would soon reveal the location(s) of the antenna( s). Your videos are absolutely fascinating, & you are to be congratulated for your efforts. Cheers! from western Canada.
Another day spent in Europe with Tino is another good day. As always, Most informative and enjoyable. I am sure you are tired of me saying "thank you"...but again Thank you Tino for this presentation !!!
Thanks again Tino. I look forward to your videos all week long. I’ve learned more watching your videos and chats in two years that I did in a decade watching the sterile stuff on the cookie cutter channels. 💪
I was stationed at Rivers Barracks from 66-69.I don’t remember the fenced off area but the large house-like structure was used as a EM recreation building. Yes, I believe the underground floors were flooded. The doors were steel faced with wood. Originally named Verdun Kasern, it was later renamed Rivers Barracks and housed our unit, 6/9th Arty M107 175mm gun unit, 3/79 missile unit and 2/92 8” gun unit.
The seperate oblong blocks with the three pipes coming out of them are the air exhaust blocks for the ventilation system, exhausting outwards in the direction the prevailing winds blowing to. The intakes are the grilled round ports on the building. It is most likely the aboveground interface building for the bunker complex, generally located slightly away from the underground bunker itself, so if targeted it was only the interface building that was damaged, not all the entrances, emergency exits and communication ducts.
Great video as always. You're a brave man Tino. In the AEG room, seeing those two chairs each facing a corner completely freaked me out and I would have split then. But....I am glad you continued on. Thanks for all you do bringing this incredible history to us.
It would be absolutely fascinating to see photographs of what the interior of the facility looked like during the Second World War when the facility was in use.
Always good to see what you have found Tino. I learn every time I tune in to watch. Just fascinating. This explore went by very quickly. Looking forward to your next explore. Great Job. Most Excellent Channel. By far The B*E*S*T History channel on UA-cam & better then most of the dreck on many cable channels. Bravo 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻‼️
that was very interesting. thanks. I live near Aachen (roughly where the Ardennes offensive started), but my girlfriend lives in Giessen. I already know the Winkelbunker but the Nachrichtenbunker is new to me. I'll definitely take a look at it.
When i went to the GDR by train in 1988, the first railwaystation was Magdeburg. Before we arrived there, i saw such a tower pretty close to the railway. These are hiding towers during air raids/bombardments.
When you decide to go to massweiler ,let me know what you find there...lol,I already know, amhistory buff of europe when I was much younger...glad you find much, but just like Berlin has a underground that would amaze most of your subscribers, maybe the tunnels in Nuernberg, that go for miles..you have only touch a tip of what is out there.
AMAZING!! Did you get radiation readings? I'm curious about the waterways, could they have been simply for air flow, or for cooling rods on a small scale for weapons and nuclear fight, like drones which they communicated with these buildings and many escaping with the tech actually fly around for pleasure or Intel, making us think we're seeing alien UFOs when really they're terrestrial?
I remember being told that Gießen was heavily bombed towards the end of WW2 because of the death of US soldiers during their capture in the area, maybe airmen who had been shot down. I didn’t see too many bomb craters but didn’t do too much exploring of the off-limits areas. Two of our units had nuclear capability so the area had guarded entrances and an ammo area guarded 24/7.
If you look at picture after the Bielefeld viaduct bombing, the bomb craters of the Tallboy bombs appear much larger. But of course the size is hard to judge on a video.
Most of us here on UA-cam frequent all of the information outlets. I see others chasing some of your same targets. They appear to be better funded, not smarter or better produced!
This area of Germany wasn’t bombed as badly as the industrialized areas were. There are areas such as the beautiful Berg Eltz castle that were untouched
In a few thousand years they will have us believe all these chambers to the right and left in that tunnel were used as burial chambers like the ones in Siqura Egypt.
Amazing that so many of these bunkers have survived. I would have thought that the allies would have destroyed most of them. I guess the the Russians would have repurposed most of ones on their side of the line.
Whay don't you get a endoscope horoscope snake inspect camera for your phone to look down holes and cracks. I have one they r brilliant and they r cheap on Ebay
Another awesome tour Tino, cheers.
Heck, that's like finding Area 51 beneath a garden shed! Truly amazing what's hidden underground. Thanks for taking us there Tino.
Thank you Tino,I learn something new every time 👍

Thank You so much brother for all the education you give us. 😊👍❤️🇸🇪
Genius - it’s incredible how much concrete was used in Defense Battery and Bomb Shelters .
Always keep listening to the voice in the back of your head Tino! Love your stuff
Excellent explore Tino, I hope you find all you seek.

Thank you for sharing Tino. I remain amazed by all the bunkers and under grounds built during WWII.

Right around the 12 minute mark, I’m disappointed that you didn’t shimmy down those ventilation pipes Tino. ;)

Thank you for sharing
I never heard of this place. Thank you very much for sharing it with us.

Fabulous effort. Fascinating.
Amazing tunnels and History. Keep em coming our way. 💯👍👀✌
amazing place
I did not know about the one at Gießen.I might visit there if it is open?
Amazing place amazing video
wow ..what a gem you found down there
that was very interesting. thanks. I live near Aachen (roughly where the Ardennes offensive started), but my girlfriend lives in Giessen. I already know the Winkelbunker but the Nachrichtenbunker is new to me. I'll definitely take a look at it.
Love Tino videos. He needs deep pocket investment
I'm definitely not going to disagree with you on that :-) thank you
It's possible the AEG generator sets were on steel beds and rubber mounted to reduce vibration in the structure. Long since robbed out.
When i went to the GDR by train in 1988, the first railwaystation was Magdeburg. Before we arrived there, i saw such a tower pretty close to the railway. These are hiding towers during air raids/bombardments.
I have never seen those Pointed Structures Before, glad to see them be reused for something
LOL ! - GO ON IN TINO! THE WATER IS FINE !!!!!!!!!!
Question! When is the best month to explore in North/Mid Germany? March or April? or November? Looking for dry soil and minimum vegetation. Cheers!
I so want to see these amazing bunkers. The Germans were amazing
grandad fashionista Scottish rituals ❤ love your vid .
Strange looking fence concrete base the entire length. I've seen what a Tall Boy can do in Norway, no way were those caters created by them, to small.
Ron Perlman talks about Zossen in the war film "Enemy at the gates" (2001) When Adolf and Stalin still walked hand in hand, Ron says!
Interesting 👌

Tack!
With nuts and bolts on old fence posts - the nut is always on the inside of the fence, unless it's a prison fence, then they're on the outside.
9:16 That door Thick!
We wanted to go there too 😐but we have to take a long break due to health reasons !
Reporting for duty Sir, Perth WA

Ahh, Zossen command post .
Well done Sir - Godt arbejde Tino og tag dig ikke af Janteloven, nyder at se dine shows venlig hilsen fra en gammel HJV PO’er Søren
Yup, that’s where I spent 2 1/2 years during the Vietnam era!
I thought for sure you were going to go swimming in that nasty water. Did you see any tires?.
Think of the poor bastards who had to live and work-and wait in this cold, damp and depressing environment.
According to a list of 'tallboy' raids, it wasn't used here. Most likely a 4000lb 'cookie' blockbuster bomb
Most of us here on UA-cam frequent all of the information outlets. I see others chasing some of your same targets. They appear to be better funded, not smarter or better produced!
devious rascals at work,, many to sustain ... history .the passst 😌
After 77 years it obvious that these places have been stripped of anything important and used for who knows what.
What are the pointer concrete structures? Antenna mounts?
Are the WW2 pre and post bombing analysis photos available? Might give you some idea what you are dealing with.
This area of Germany wasn’t bombed as badly as the industrialized areas were. There are areas such as the beautiful Berg Eltz castle that were untouched
THat was a surprise
In a few thousand years they will have us believe all these chambers to the right and left in that tunnel were used as burial chambers like the ones in Siqura Egypt.
What is up with the wood kitchen chair’s???!!!
Geez Sarge. When are you going to learn to wear boots when tromping through the bush and crawling into holes in the ground? 🤣
I miss the old version Germany💟
@21:10 Underground tunnels
at 18:08, looks like an elevator shaft
AEG- Arbeits Electrische Generator
19:51 No car tires ??
hmm there must be
RIP Squirrel cage fan.
Amazing that so many of these bunkers have survived. I would have thought that the allies would have destroyed most of them. I guess the the Russians would have repurposed most of ones on their side of the line.
Why destroy them?
Don’t think the Russians were concerned with capturing Gießen, they were after Hitler in Berlin.
Whay don't you get a endoscope horoscope snake inspect camera for your phone to look down holes and cracks. I have one they r brilliant and they r cheap on Ebay
This is how a lot of these sites could beif the russians and Allies handnt dynamited them. and then pushe dit all into a landfill
Why are you whispering ? Sounds like you're thinking out loud. Not hearing, understanding many of your comments.
You know I found myself always doing that in Hollow spaces you're right
