Spent a week on that canal a couple of years ago. Lovely holiday but the water was so shallow in some parts we were scraping along the bottom and under some bridges further south we almost had to ram the boat over the bottom of the canal as we just ran constantly ran aground under the bridges. The water was often less than two feet deep. Very tranquil and some love stops further to the north of the waterways there though
