The young player Bai Yulu is already very good. She can make it to the British Championship trials and win a round against "Little Driver", which is incredible! It is not easy to have a place in the male world. Hope to see you in Cruzburg, come on!

Historically, in the UK at least, access to a snooker table in a lot of towns and cities was via men only working men's clubs, and quite seedy ( not a nice place) snooker halls. A lot has changed in recent years, especially in the last 10 years but I still think that discovering natural talent in women for Cue Sports is still hard as few places that women visit, have snooker or even pool tables where they can discover that they 1.) enjoy playing 2.) Have a natural aptitude for the game. Sad.
@alandmunk3h Agreed. Not entirely on one point, women not finding snooker halls to play in, as we can argue men would also find it equally difficult to find one. I get the drift snooker halls are not mainstream in society, and that's because it is an expensive sport to play with Riley snooker clubs in London charge £35 for 3 hour practice. The likelihood UK next snooker talent will come out of the middle/upper class. But back in the 80's &90's snooker young talents came out of the working class, and that's because snooker was affordable to play. I think you should consider this as an additional obstacle to having many women interested in taking snooker for living.

How comes women are not as good as men in snooker or pool ? You can understand with physical sports men have bigger lungs.
