In 2024 they still dont care and never will. Another thing we can do is take classes to be a nurse, medical assistant, midwife, doula ext and of physicians. Its time to take matters in our own hand. What is going on with all the censorship. It’s unbelievable!! They take down almost everything, and give no explanation why!! All you know is, my comment is gone. They erase what you say so much, you wonder what was your initial comment. It’s Ridiculous! Everybody should boycott them. They’re out of control. They might erase this too!!
When I was pregnant with my first child, I started to do research on delivery and found a video that Ricki Lake did called "The Business of Being Born". The documentary woke me up and I decided to have my 3 children in a birthing center. By God's grace, all my babies were born healthy and the experience was not chaotic or traumatizing.

I am black and I am so glad I had my 3 children at home! All beautifully healthy 😊 Never wanted to go to any hospital. Unfortunately my daughter in law had problems and had to deliver in a hospital… she waited until the last minute but she would not dilate enough. It was a horrible experience. We are vegan and wholistic and they were trying to give drugs to her and the baby that weren’t necessary and using constant threatening techniques while she was in pain and trying to recover after the cesarean to make her concede.
The baby came out super healthy! No drugs! Thanks to the strength mother and her family support system. But unfortunately they reported the family to the children’s services bureau because they would not concede. I have to say she had a better experience during her second birth. Pick your hospital, if you have to go, very carefully! ❤
My Dr brushed me off when I was trying to tell my Dr everytime I ate something I felt sick and started itching and turning red. She said oh you are just stressed. I said no something is wrong with me. I went over her head and went to an allergist. Turns out I was allergic to eggs, bananas and dairy. You know your body…..Do not let them bully you into thinking it is something else.

Wow! What you went through was really bad experience. Well, I don't know which state that you are? Oklahoma hospitals are better, during my during my delivery time, both the nurses and the doctors were very nice, and caring and, pampering. May God help the black people.

But from Africa to Jamaica black doctors n nurses treat patients far worse and usually no legal repercussions for criminal or financial penalties. Millions more black people die in hospitals that is underfunded by black governments. Let's treat our black selves better before we concern or ask other people to treat us good
