Dave, now that you’re a few years down the road with your MyPod, are you still happy with it? Have you been disappointed with anything? A/C? Frame cracks? Leaks? Bouncing going down the road? Electronics? Anything? I’m retired and am looking (like you) for a simple camper so I can take my dog on hikes, bank fishing, and adventures near the Sierra Nevadas. 0:08

Towed my MyPod from Ohio to Florida with a Toyota Corolla. Went from 36 mpg to 28 mpg. There were several times that I forgot that it was back there. Didn't make a bit of difference in it's performance on the road.
@@EverDave Mine is a 2015 model which weighed in just over 600lbs. For some reason, they seemed to start weighing more and more, as each new model year came in.

Nice. I think the tent awning would be really nice. Would give you a little more living area. And could possibly cook if raining.
Yeah that was my thought as well. Just the sitting and cooking area and a place to take off wet clothes if it rained on us.

I sold it a few month's back. Only thing I'd say is the AC will struggle in the really hot temps of the south.

Oh absolutely. It was a great camper for just 2 people or 1 and a dog maybe. Super lightweight as well so that helps.

They are so awesome to tow aren't they. With them being aerodynamic it really helps as well.

Do you think the Mypod could be towed by a Nissan Kicks?
@@alejandrofelix203 You shouldn't have any problem, as long as your MyPod weighs 800lbs. or less. The Kicks is rated for a 1000lb. towing capacity.
