- State Capital Building / Downtown
- Scioto Mile / River Walk
- German Village
- Several Metro Parks
- The Ohio State University (OSU)

My story so far........
I was raised in the West and became an adult in the East.
I set out on my own at 18 to see the world, bouncing around Asia and North America. Working my way through school, I never lived anywhere too long. I found my calling as a teacher and ended up staying abroad for many years. While I've had a chance to explore Europe, places I consider home are Washington DC, Seoul, Beijing, Memphis, and Columbus. After 20 years of exploring, I'm ready to share my adventures and wanderlust. The road ahead is never a straight line, but a path that zigs and zags, leading you to amazing places, people, and experiences you could never imagine. Be flexible and open minded, embracing the uncertainty of life and letting the current wisk you away........
moving here for college, love this city.
Where u from
Too dangerous only in Ohio
I visit relatives in Columbus a few times a year and always have a great time there.
What A Beauriful City....Coming Soon
Columbus is a nice city and I was born and raised there but it’s too cold to live there so I moved to Honolulu Hawaii. My second hometown.
Nice and quiet.. Perfect
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio love my city GO BUCKS!!!!!
I’m from Cleveland Ohio and now live in Raleigh (which is very similar to Columbus) and I’m almost in tears because I love Columbus and miss Ohio! The people in Columbus are so nice 😊
That’s a understatement. Columbus is more like Charlotte
Raleigh may have changed but it was underwhelming 15 yrs ago
I’ve lived in Raleigh myself and currently live in Charlotte. I’ve been considering moving to Columbus or Cincinnati myself. I’ve read that housing prices and rent are cheaper there than in North Carolina while the average salary for the type of work I do is still about the same. I’ve also heard that Ohio’s cities rank better in healthcare and education.

Lovely and peaceful city love from Dhaka, Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩
Thank you friend!
I really enjoyed this video! I love when Columbus is showcased as a great place to live because it really is!
I really enjoyed this video as well as having never stepped foot in Columbus or in the state of Ohio. This is a jem of a city!
i know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account?
I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Allan Jackson instablaster :)
@Grayson Karter i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Grayson Karter It worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out !
I love Columbus Ohio I live there

I hope you will enjoy your time here 😁
Grew up in Columbus Ohio and miss this city so much since moving away. If you haven't been there, you have no idea what you're missing.
I’m from Cleveland and Lovvve Columbus
I’m moving here in June
What am I missing
@@bison9933go there and find out.
I may be moving to Columbus this summer to start grad school. My first visit to the city is coming up in March, and this video made me even more excited about it all. Thank you for making and sharing this! :)
I’m glad the video was helpful Nikki 😊 I’ve really grown to love the city and am always finding new places to explore.
Great video! I’m moving there in 2 weeks from the west coast and this made me even more excited than I already was!
Me too! Moving there in 2 to 3 weeks!
Welcome to Cbus!
Moving to Defiance Ohio at the end of the year and I am sooo nervous. Coming in from California and never living anywhere else. Taking a trip to Columbus, Defiance, and surrounding areas before the big move.
Happy to see someone show a good side of Columbus rather than focusing on the negatives!!
We enjoyed this video. It is well done and now we’re considering moving to Columbus.
Thank you so much and welcome!
I know I’m late but this video is lit 🔥
Keep it up
I love visiting Columbus going to the different restaurants great tour.

Amazing video!
Thanks Mikhail! 😊
I used to work for the Blue Jackets organization. I was a driver for several players...Seth Jones, Josh Anderson, Boone Jenner etc. Amazing city, beautiful people. God I miss it!!
My daughter lives in Columbus and I always enjoy visiting the city. Not too busy and lots of stuff to do.
That's what I love about the city as well!
8:37 you can hear the tornado siren testing. This is how Cbus peeps know my guy visited on a Wednesday and is in that park around noon :P
Nice quality video with great shots and content! Thank you! It’s nice to like where you live! 45 years and counting!
Thanks J! At this point in my life I can't imagine living in the same place for even 5 years, let alone 45. But I would probably be happy calling Columbus, Ohio my home base if I stay here another 40 years.
@@AtHomeAnywhere Well I actually went to college in Athens at Ohio University and from there I moved to Albuquerque, NM for medical school. So let’s subtract 9-10 years that I was away before being pulled back to the Cap City! That is real info and makes me feel better about returning!! lol I’m going to check out your other videos cuz you have a knack for showing things but not going on and on.... much appreciated!
Well that was 2 years ago and now they done built new houses and apartments all around where you're at and all around Columbus so now you need to come back and see where they're building all the new houses and apartments that and they got some nice places I would like to get one of the ones downtown with the balcony on it
Great tour of the city!
What a pleasant video of Columbus, a city with a long and fascinating history. I’ll definitely look up your other videos and share them with my friends. Thanks!
Thank you so much for watching Gerald. I'm glad you enjoyed this video about Columbus. I've been living in Ohio for a few years now and have been trying to showcase some of the amazing things this state has to offer.
Awesome! ❤️
Thanks Ariane! 😊
I really enjoy this video! I hope to meet Columbus very soon
Thank you so much Durga! I hope you can enjoy Columbus as well!
Nice walking tour!
It's also the headquarters for White Castle! Still waiting for that 100 floor White Castle skyscraper! Now THAT would put Columbus Ohio on the map! 🤣
I loved it❤️! I am still missing a lot Ohio and you guys. Actually, tomorrow we are jumping to an other adventure. We are moving to Michigan.
Thanks Marcy! We miss you as well! Good luck with your move to Michigan! New Adventures are always fun!
What city in Michigan?
I love the video. I've been wanting to do something like this for the city and you did great!
Definitely me too
CBE Travels Host __ The Man The Myth The Legend!!!
haha....not sure about all that, but I will take it as a great compliment. Hope you're enjoying the travel videos.
Great video man! Thanks. I'd be also interrested in stats like: criminality, school success rates, income, poverty, taxes and housing rates ..
No way the Book Loft is still there? That was one of my favorite places. It has been almost 20 years since I have been to Columbus. I’m actually thinking of getting out of Cali and possibly moving to Columbus.
Still is
i'm definitely considering a move to columbus!
ron gladden It’s a really nice place to live and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your time here 😊
@@AtHomeAnywhere i can believe it. and good job with the production value. 👏
I lived here for 40 years. It has so much to do and keeps growing so fast.
@@RD-nc8xt Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I've only been here 4 years, but have also noticed a lot of change and development.
Been here 20 years now, best move I ever made!
Thanks for thé vedeo Ask you more for Ohio thé best area to live
informative walking tour!
Thanks Patrick 😊
I just moved here and sadly have not been to that many places as of yet. Followed my kids here but have seen Columbus Park of Roses, Tensuke, the German Village, Polaris Fashion Malls and some others. As soon as the pandemic settles some more (new variants are emerging now) then I hope to see much more.
I totally understand. I haven’t been out much this past year, but I’m hoping to venture out again when things are better. 😊
Welcome to Cbus Amy r!
Excelente
Thanks! 😁
Sad you didn't show folks the 5th largest zoo in the country! :P That was a great video about Columbus :D
No offense to anyone living in Ohio, but I always thought Ohio had little to offer as a tourist destination, except I believe the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is there. I saw the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium on a list of top zoos in the country, and when I checked out Columbus, I was shocked to see all the things to do. Cincinnati looks pretty good, too, and I’d like to visit them one day. I live in Charlotte, and I’m actually jealous because our city has a lot of bars, restaurants, and parks, but not a lot of museums unless you have young kids or like staring at art. Our science museum seems to be geared towards the youngsters, unlike your COSI.
I can tell you were at Franklin Park at noon on a Wednesday.
Tornado siren
Lol I grew up on Franklin Avenue n Franklin park. Its cleaned up a lot. But still not the safest places to b at dark
Beautiful place. But why is this city so quiet? not many people there?
I’m not a huge fan of crowds so I filmed this mostly during the morning on a weekday, but the city can be really crowded, especially during the summer festival season.
@@AtHomeAnywhere thank you.. it is really nice video..
I’m from here 614 Columbus Ohio eastside baby
Great video!!
Thanks so much! 😊 I’m a transplant to central Ohio and after living here a few years I wanted to share this amazing city with friends and family living all over the world.
Eu vivi em Columbus Ohio de 2002 a 2008 tenho muita saudade hoje
Transportation folks in Columbus appears to be WORK-SHY!! They should have built light rail system throughout the metropolitan cities long time ago! Cities Like Seattle, though less in population have erected pillars throughout cities on which light rail run transportation is abundant. mono rail, express buses. light rail you name it!!. Even Charlotte NC has a light rail system!! Columbus Transportation office workers, please wake up and do for Columbus what it deserves__Build light rail system that connects Columbus with Hilliard, Powell, upper Arlington, even cities further like Grove city, Channel Winchester etc..............It is high time!!
I would love to see a light rail system in Columbus as it keeps growing and would really make it so much easier to get around.
Why is Ohio called Nohio? Also, I feel like clearing my throat when he is talking Lol!
I love great Christopher Columbus. He was a mighty man
I’m not sure if this is sarcasm 😅 but as a student of history I would have to disagree.
Columbus is a nice city but I do not like the cold I was born and raised there I moved to Honolulu Hawaii which is similar in size around 20 years ago I moved out
Hawaii is one of only 2 states I haven’t been to yet and looking forward to visiting at some point in the next year or two 😁
Yeah you at the state house see you then left the the middle of downtown you're in the heart of downtown now so Cosi was the first place you went now where you going to go after that you going to show the rest of Columbus the bad parts of Columbus I had a good parts which one you going to show cuz there's some good parts but bad in some places though right now so hopefully you showed a good parts of it
Have you ever been to Milwaukee?
I drove up to the Green Bay area years ago, but did not stop in Milwaukee. I hope to visit one day.
I am from Delaware Ohio it is right north of Columbus
Ooooh wow is a interesting film I very like it. I have a question can I use a part of your video in my university homework(my homework is to make a film to introduce my hometown ) ? I'm from Taiwan and I was born in Columbus Ohio
Yes. You can use any part of this video for your project. I'm glad you liked the video and I hope your studies are going well at university.
@@AtHomeAnywhere Thankyou very much!!!
I'm visiting cleveland in August
Lol,this vedeo is lit🔥
Thanks Mamsa! 😁
On my way insha alh

❤️
See , it's pretty normal in Ohio ☺️
very peacefull music what is it?
This was just a piece of music I found in the UA-cam library 😉 I think the song name is Greedy
@@AtHomeAnywhere very good choice , you can feel the serenity and peacefullness of a vinter morning . i hope to visit your beautiful city one day .
What about our art museum?
I actually haven't been yet, but it's on my list of places to visit. I have been to the museums in Cleveland and Cincinnati and enjoyed both of them.
Is it good for fammily
I think so. I have enjoyed calling Columbus home for the last 6 years.
Porque vivo dos años y medio en Columbus Ohio
Used Kids Records if you like music
Thanks for the recommendation 😊
Интересно а работа там есть
I live in marysville
Nice video, don't get me wrong, but maybe shoot another video that's not in the dead of winter, in the morning. Looks pretty desolate. Once spring rolls around this small town becomes alive and hopping all over.
I purposely filmed this on a day when I knew not many people would be out and about but Columbus definitely gets busy, especially in the summer months when there are lots of outdoor festivals happening.
Up
Buckeyes stadium
MEMERS ARE SO BAD😡
THAT'S SO BEAUTIFUL 😍
thank you for your nice guide ohio coumbus . i wana visit chillicothe nice chance come to me. thank you . byeong from south korea
Hei, where is billy? Is it tomy? Or ragen? 🤣
You desperately need an update to this video. You have to show the Shoe in all its glory and you never mentioned or showed the fairgrounds, which hosts one of our Nation's largest and most popular state fairs.
I agree. This was filmed a few years ago and I still love this city so I should do another video soon.
No mention of the outrageous exploding CRIME
Ahí listo y se enoja
Memes lied
Lived here since 1973. Next time, tell everything about the city! Like the crime rate, what parts of town NOT to go to, especially at night! Where NOT to live, (Franklinton, Hilltop, west side between downtown and Hilliard, Linden, Whitehall, east of downtown except Bexley, anywhere south of German Village). If you move here, buy a gun and learn how to shoot it properly!
where are zombies?
Literally not a soul in sight lol
Do not fall for it
I clicked here to see Columbus Ohio, not a 15 minute selfie - THUMBS DOWN
Without osu columbus sucks.. Cincy and cleveland way better
Opinions are like assholes everybody has 1
Cleveland and Cincinnati are ranked more dangerous than Dayton. Columbus is only starting to have issues with crime because of its growth. Cleveland and Cincy seen most of their growth long ago but still can't shake off their crime rates.
Columbus is much better. I love Cincinnati too but no city in Ohio is better than Columbus.
Columbus City. It is absolutely no wonder they named this place after a mass murderer who allegedly found America but in fact it was just a bunch of vikings before him.
I not like this video 😡
Video not like you 😡
