It is so ironical that people are comparing her to shreya ghoshal. Dude suchismita ma'am is the vocal designer of the song...without her involvement, mrs. ghoshal wouldn't have ever been able to sing the song with the same élan.
As about the cover, the fabulosity of the Patiala Gharana never fails to amaze us. Love the richness and sharpness of the chiselled and রেওয়াজি voice!

This is a cover, I hate it when people compare covers to the original songs unjustly- by saying the original singer is the best etc. Covers bring out the individuality of the artists, I don't think it is fair to compare. Yes, opinions may differ, but I think if you have clicked on the cover on YT, comment or critique on that instead of comparing it. We don't like it when our parents compare us to our cousins or Sharma ji ka beta, then why follow the same tradition?

I do not get why people are making comparisons with Shreya Ghoshal. Suchismita Das is the vocal designer of the song. She is the reason Shreya sang it the way she did in the movie. So any comparisons are completely baseless.
