This video has barely been out for an hour and I've already gotten a dozen different comments telling me that Colin actually does say "Oh my God" if you listen closely. And trust me, I _did_ notice that the "o" was pronounced a little differently which really _SOUNDS_ like he's about to say "God". But after replaying that clip a dozen times, I still wasn't sure if he said "God" or if he got cut off by Keenie before he could pronounce the "d" so I figured it was safe to make a joke out of, but apparently not lol. Edit: Wtf I've gotten three different comments now saying that the "inconsistency" in the opera house's crowd (sin #62) was because everyone probably fled the theater after the shooting started. But that doesn't explain how they _literally vanished between shots._ I DIDN'T EDIT THAT CLIP, THEY JUST DISAPPEARED.
I think your doing ok and we all should get your trying not to be over critical of the show and yes the suicide joke was dark but there was also a irony joke to the episode you missed and it’s a dark one cletus at one point comes out with where gonna save this guy weather he wants us to or not (not sure I phrased that correct) while sure imp was hired to kill him but they spent the majority of the episode arguing with the cherubs about letting him kill himself. So the dark irony is imp inadvertently fought for a person’s freedom of choice
I look forward to to these every time a new episode comes out. They’re so critical while still feeling like they come from a place of enjoyment, well done!
I loved the video! I honestly wasn’t a fan of this episode... I think it was 4/10 or 5/10. I loved the other three so much. A lot of the reasons are personal... I just don’t like suicide starters. It’s something that I am very sensitive towards. I loved the Cherubs so much. Collin and Keenie specifically. I’m really hoping that they don’t end up going to hell. Like, I really do not want that. I want them to work on Earth or something of that nature. The entire episode felt entirely one sided. There was never any struggle for IMP to outdo CHERUB. I was actually rooting for Cherub, even to win a single contest, but... no dice, sadly. A lot of my complaints are personal, I get that... but most people’s can be, I suppose. Again, I’m loving this series, but this episode felt more cruel and... annoying... I get it, hell, demons, cruel. Even so, something was... off this time...

also, it depends on what time of year it is, for the stag thing. If you're out there hunting them in springtime/summer, it's the rut. Stags are KNOWN to act aggressive and charge straight at humans and even KILL people during that time of year, which in all honesty makes sense considering the last episode took place during spring break. xD

Money is important, sure, but those are like passion projects for Vivziepop. She always does her best when creating characters, the designs are extra detailed, and the world setting is very interesting. That alone shows that money wasn't the pure motive, but she does have to pay her team, since they are obviously working very hard. The fact that we can watch it for free on UA-cam says something, but at some point I believe they will go on, as the platform is slowly falling into absolute oblivion

@@sarahkinomoto1777 It is not too much to ask unless you are criticizing a studio with decades of experience that has resources already from their past works. Vivziepop got out of college and started her own animation company and sure, she grew in popularity through youtube for which she gains money, but animation is costly as hell and her studio has just begun. She has gathered people who might not have a lot of experience to give them a chance to gain that experience for their future, some of her animators left for other projects or make their own ones. These things have a massive effect on production and at the end of this episode, they paid respects to someone who died, so that also had its effect. The fact that people are expecting her work to be perfect at every frame of animation that is done by a fresh new studio is a bit too much. For the time frame they have given themselves, for such detailed animation and for this being their first big project that they have made real (since Hazbin has been picked by a different studio), they are doing a great job. There is room for improvement but that improvement will not happen from episode to episode. It will take years and I feel like that is what a lot of people forget, their quality cannot be on par with some bigger studios out there. Some fans are asking too much from them.

You can always give more attention a some detail, studying more option for material, cure a drawing a bit more for make it more clearly conveying your concept for the project, ecc... But we all have dead line to respect. No meter what you do, you have always the feeling that "It could have been even better." No meter how good you are at doing it.
Yeah, I'm trying to work on my animation skills and put more animations on my channel but there's so much I'm trying to do to show off and refine different skills and a certain amount of time I can spend for each and I just feel so bad when I can't put infinite time into my work because I want it to look amazing even if it still looks like a decent animation when I think it's just okay,
For the fact that this episode was rushed, I think I may have a reason as to why. At the very end of the video, it was revealed that one of the show’s creators or close fans ended up passing away. More than likely, this resulted in a mourning period which probably lasted about 1-2 weeks. On top of that, the episode was being developed during February and March, which is the time of year in which Influenza is very prevalent. My guess is that one of the main cast ended up getting a bit ill, and stayed out of work for the possibility of it being Covid. This resulted in some more delays and maybe even the rushing of revisions to the storyboard. I could be completely wrong about this, but this may be a rather fair reason as to why the episode seems rushed and delayed. Also, the studio released a ton of new merch for Valentines Day which could have also delayed the release of the episode. For the sake of getting back on track, Episode 5 might not be released until late April and Episode 6, as a result, might not be released until late May. I wish that I have solid information about this, but I honestly have no idea. So, take this information with a grain of salt.
Honestly the show should release episodes when they feel like there ready as I don’t care if helluva take a mouth or even 3 mouths I just care if it’s good. As everyone I’m sure everyone can agree they rather have a great show that takes a long time to make then a poorly made show that come out ever weak.

I feel like one major sin is the fate of the Cherubs. It inherently makes the premise behind Hazbin Hotel seem like even more of an impossibility. If the Cherubs can’t get back into Heaven after 1 accidental murder, what hope do the denizens of Hell have? I know Allastor said that “the one chance you have is the life you live,” but seeings as nothing dictates Allastor as omniscient, that was just hearsay. This episode is direct confirmation that might just end up spoiling the season finale of Hazbin Hotel.
Honestly I theorize that heaven's HR department or.... equivalent... wanted those cherubs out for a LONG time for daring to mess with god's plan. Because according to most faiths god does not make mistakes. If someone is dying, they're supposed to, it's part of god's plan. (Which is why suicide is such a big sin, because you're not allowed to mess with the plan by killing yourself prematurely.) So if they were preventing deaths because of heaven patrons wishes then they were messing with god's grand plan. So I expect they were just waiting for them to step one toe (or hoof) out of line so they could ban them.

I have a nitpick of something he didn't nitpick about in the scene when blitzo was talking to loopty the animation looked VERY stiff and rushed. I know he said that at the end of the video about the whole rushed scene but he didn't say it about this one. Don't believe me check EP 1 and look at the scene where blitzo was talking to the teacher it looks so polished then compare it to EP 4 its even better i kinda get why you didn't say anything but still so yeah. Great video though!

The girl from episode 1 has a different injury from then because from when this episode released in in-universe it is holiday time and episode 1 took place in January meaning that's been a whole year and that girl got injured again in a similar way
the doctor in the billboard was the same doctor from the pilot blitzo may not be the type to caution his clients about the ramnifications of his actions but lyle is absolutely the type to stiff IMP when things don't go the way he envisioned
My main criticism with this episode is that it made me firmly side against IMP. Let me elaborate. Yeah, obviously IMP are Villain Protagonists, but what keeps the premise from being too much of a downer is the fact that the people they kill are either deserving assholes (Episode 1) or the antagonists of the episode are bigger dicks than they are (Episode 3). Here? CHERUB is just too damn nice for their fate at the end to feel deserved. What was stopping IMP from blowing Lyle’s head off the first chance they got? It feels like they decided to convince Lyle to commit suicide just out of spite for the CHERUBS. It just didn’t sit right with me at the end of it all.
By the way, the line about the people who commissioned CHERUB to save Lyle being those who benefited from their tech makes sense, mainly due to the fact that people treat Elon Musk like a saint, despite him being kind of a terrible person (I like Tesla and SpaceX too, but we can still be critical of Musk himself).
I suspect the authoritarian line is about his employees as he’s probably a union buster who advocates right to work laws and the work place us heavily classist and acts as a caste system in most areas

I have seen all your EWW and i have a feeling that you're interpreting something wrong here: Moxxie doesn't really have a moral compass. He is only hesitant in killing someone he considers an innocent family or a member of one. I mean, why would he work at I.M.P, which is basically a hitman group, if he couldn't kill anybody? And i agree with most sins here, with the exception of one: Sin 28 with the conversation between Loopty and Blitzo. You claim that its Blitzo be hesitant on killing someone, but its him responding to Loopty demand, where he wants to send him to hell, and Blitzo, who found out Loopty is a recent person who died, is remindnig him that he will be in Hell with them if they kill him.
You could make the argument that the majority of people exited the opera house as soon they started noticing the fight break out between the imps and cherubs.
Sin 33: The Cherubs actually do state they were asked by dead people who were helped by Lyle's previous inventions. Sin 36: That was for the de-aging machine only. The two scientists were obviously famous enough off other inventions before this event. Sin 56: The location is called Lover's Lookout. It's pretty obvious who goes to this place. Money is important, sure, but those are like passion projects for Vivziepop. She always does her best when creating characters, the designs are extra detailed, and the world setting is very interesting. That alone shows that money wasn't the pure motive, but she does have to pay her team, since they are obviously working very hard. The fact that we can watch it for free on UA-cam says something, but at some point I believe they will go on, as the platform is slowly falling into absolute oblivion

@@sarahkinomoto1777 It is not too much to ask unless you are criticizing a studio with decades of experience that has resources already from their past works. Vivziepop got out of college and started her own animation company and sure, she grew in popularity through youtube for which she gains money, but animation is costly as hell and her studio has just begun. She has gathered people who might not have a lot of experience to give them a chance to gain that experience for their future, some of her animators left for other projects or make their own ones. These things have a massive effect on production and at the end of this episode, they paid respects to someone who died, so that also had its effect. The fact that people are expecting her work to be perfect at every frame of animation that is done by a fresh new studio is a bit too much. For the time frame they have given themselves, for such detailed animation and for this being their first big project that they have made real (since Hazbin has been picked by a different studio), they are doing a great job. There is room for improvement but that improvement will not happen from episode to episode. It will take years and I feel like that is what a lot of people forget, their quality cannot be on par with some bigger studios out there. Some fans are asking too much from them.

She has been given constructive criticism many times, and all she does is lash out to anyone that opposes her and her STORYTELLING skills (not the animation, THAT she is actually amazing at). Ive been following her Animation career for a long time and I can tell you this: She doesn’t fucking learn. Any good advice people give her she brushes it away and continues to do the same mistake. THATS THE PROBLEM with Hazbin Hotel, Helluvaboss, AND ALL THE OTHER PROJECTS SHE PROMISED TO HER FANS (where she TOOK THEIR FUCKING DONATIONS and NEVER DELIVERED HER PROMISE). You can always give more attention a some detail, studying more option for material, cure a drawing a bit more for make it more clearly conveying your concept for the project, ecc...
But we all have dead line to respect. No meter what you do, you have always the feeling that "It could have been even better." No meter how good you are at doing it.
Yeah, I'm trying to work on my animation skills and put more animations on my channel but there's so much I'm trying to do to show off and refine different skills and a certain amount of time I can spend for each and I just feel so bad when I can't put infinite time into my work because I want it to look amazing even if it still looks like a decent animation when I think it's just okay,
For the fact that this episode was rushed, I think I may have a reason as to why.
At the very end of the video, it was revealed that one of the show’s creators or close fans ended up passing away.
More than likely, this resulted in a mourning period which probably lasted about 1-2 weeks.
On top of that, the episode was being developed during February and March, which is the time of year in which Influenza is very prevalent.
My guess is that one of the main cast ended up getting a bit ill, and stayed out of work for the possibility of it being Covid.
This resulted in some more delays and maybe even the rushing of revisions to the storyboard.
I could be completely wrong about this, but this may be a rather fair reason as to why the episode seems rushed and delayed.
Also, the studio released a ton of new merch for Valentines Day which could have also delayed the release of the episode.
For the sake of getting back on track, Episode 5 might not be released until late April and Episode 6, as a result, might not be released until late May.
I wish that I have solid information about this, but I honestly have no idea. So, take this information with a grain of salt.
Honestly the show should release episodes when they feel like there ready as I don’t care if helluva take a mouth or even 3 mouths I just care if it’s good. As everyone I’m sure everyone can agree they rather have a great show that takes a long time to make then a poorly made show that come out ever weak.

A thing that I’ve noticed is that, in the first episode , one of the students say that it’s the 8th of January and here in episode 4, they go to see a mall Santa. This means that it’s early to mid December and if the episodes are in order, it means that it’s been nearly a year between episodes 1 and 4.

I feel like one major sin is the fate of the Cherubs. It inherently makes the premise behind Hazbin Hotel seem like even more of an impossibility. If the Cherubs can’t get back into Heaven after 1 accidental murder, what hope do the denizens of Hell have? I know Allastor said that “the one chance you have is the life you live,” but seeings as nothing dictates Allastor as omniscient, that was just hearsay. This episode is direct confirmation that might just end up spoiling the season finale of Hazbin Hotel.
Honestly I theorize that heaven's HR department or.... equivalent... wanted those cherubs out for a LONG time for daring to mess with god's plan. Because according to most faiths god does not make mistakes. If someone is dying, they're supposed to, it's part of god's plan. (Which is why suicide is such a big sin, because you're not allowed to mess with the plan by killing yourself prematurely.) So if they were preventing deaths because of heaven patrons wishes then they were messing with god's grand plan. So I expect they were just waiting for them to step one toe (or hoof) out of line so they could ban them.

I have a nitpick of something he didn't nitpick about in the scene when blitzo was talking to loopty the animation looked VERY stiff and rushed. I know he said that at the end of the video about the whole rushed scene but he didn't say it about this one. Don't believe me check EP 1 and look at the scene where blitzo was talking to the teacher it looks so polished then compare it to EP 4 its even better i kinda get why you didn't say anything but still so yeah. Great video though!

My main criticism with this episode is that it made me firmly side against IMP. Let me elaborate.
Yeah, obviously IMP are Villain Protagonists, but what keeps the premise from being too much of a downer is the fact that the people they kill are either deserving assholes (Episode 1) or the antagonists of the episode are bigger dicks than they are (Episode 3).
Here? CHERUB is just too damn nice for their fate at the end to feel deserved. What was stopping IMP from blowing Lyle’s head off the first chance they got? It feels like they decided to convince Lyle to commit suicide just out of spite for the CHERUBS. It just didn’t sit right with me at the end of it all.
By the way, the line about the people who commissioned CHERUB to save Lyle being those who benefited from their tech makes sense, mainly due to the fact that people treat Elon Musk like a saint, despite him being kind of a terrible person (I like Tesla and SpaceX too, but we can still be critical of Musk himself).
I suspect the authoritarian line is about his employees as he’s probably a union buster who advocates right to work laws and the work place us heavily classist and acts as a caste system in most areas

He is only hesitant in killing someone he considers an innocent family or a member of one. I mean, why would he work at I.M.P, which is basically a hitman group, if he couldn't kill anybody?
And i agree with most sins here, with the exception of one: Sin 28 with the conversation between Loopty and Blitzo. You claim that its Blitzo be hesitant on killing someone, but its him responding to Loopty demand, where he wants to send him to hell, and Blitzo, who found out Loopty is a recent person who died, is remindnig him that he will be in Hell with them if they kill him.
