And I won't lie that I got excited as hell when I saw the Avengers in theater and watched Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk tear shit up in New York. It was a lengthy battle scene, and it hit several awesome facets of the heroes. It didn't drag on - "like how much more can Captain America take?".

You're probably right - filmmakers don't believe their audiences are looking for drawn-out conflicts. They want quick, snappy banter and they don't want "Bruce Lee stufying his opponent and circling around him" or "Ben and Vader fighting like senior citizens". Just like we went from horses to cars, films have gone from focusing on slow, dramatic scenes to fast-paced, explosive intensity.

Well we evolved and became more intelligent than almost every animal on this planet yet a spider bite will still take us down. They may be intelligent and ahead of us, but weapons are weapons. The "Autobots" assisted the humans in creating weaponry that'll damage their bodies. What they were depicting here is that humans are still a "Force" in this war between autobots and decepticons.
When Transformers 4 is released I doubt we will see any more Ironhide figures. The reason why they made his toy for part 3 was because he was still a featured character and by not showing off a new toy this would probably lead to heavy speculation about his fate essentially a spoiler.
Though, as I understand, movie martial arts are nothing like realistic martial arts. In real life, you knock the guy out, break one of his limbs, or take him apart. Those lengthy dramatic scenes may be considered unrealistic and thus less marketable these days. See, what I like about these kinds of fights, in Transformers, is that it's not a cartoon, so the Autobots aren't screwing around when they fight in a WAR and they're not sparing lives. I doubt that. Hasbro probably wanted Megs dead so they could bring in Galvatron. Time travel plot wouldnt work for a franchise geared to sell toys because Hasbro wouldn't want the focus of the next film to be to sell toys off of older dead characters when they have a larger inventory of ones they could use.
Soundwave will never die he has taken precautions against such risks, he has had many bodies and AIs have been programmed to record all of his mistakes so his next incarnation can destroy his enemies, which explains how he and his tapes survived all the way to beast wars.

Why are people so mad that WheelJack had the first name of Que in Transformers 3 ? In The Dark Knight Rises Robin's name was changed to John Blake but his character stayed the same as it was in the comic books. Same with Que as I've heard in from people who saw the Trasformers cartoon.

However, the Autobots are giant robots who would cause... okay, forgo realism. It's still cool seeing them take things up to an eleven. And for some, watching the shaky camera angles and the awe-inspiring carnage is cool. And people pay for video games like Call of Duty and Battlefield and expect realism, despite having infinite lives and the ability to get shot multiple times and walk it off like an animal bite.
What is it about Bumblebee that can take down, like, three 'Cons at once? In the first movie, I couldn't take a squadron with sabot with, like a million sabot rounds and three full grown Autobot soldiers to take down a tank 'Con. But it took a handicapped autobot scout tied to a tow-truck and a half-dead squadron to take the stupid thing down...

You all miss the point of this scene. The HUMAN instigates execution of prisoners, not the Deceptions. Yes, Transformers 3 was never going to be a true Transformers movie, or the one most of us want, but it's the BEST of the bunch, we got 3 major plot elements from the classic animated series, we got plenty of decent action and it actually, unlike the other 3 movies, felt like a Transformers cartoon for once. Best of the bunch and a decent movie in its own right.
What's funny is that the Marines did a better job against a robot army (that had seemingly conquered the city) than Gotham's police force (while armed and expecting resistance) did against Bane's insurrectionists.
Freaken' Barricade had to shoot that poor Autobot that never did anything to the Decepticons. I'm glad he got his eyes sniped out and his leg blown off.
they should've at least make this fight longer, so it will look like bee had a hard time killing soundwave. Soundwave is a great decepticon that can't be defeated that easy
But that's just it. They also could've killed them both really quick instead of savoring the moment. That's what most villains do. They actually win the fight but they want to kill their enemy in a dramatic way and suddenly something sabotages the moment and the good guy wins.
I know this was just a movie, but when he said "Goodbye my old friend". I actually teared up a little bit.

However, the Autobots are giant robots who would cause... okay, forgo realism. It's still cool seeing them take things up to an eleven. And for some, watching the shaky camera angles and the awe-inspiring carnage is cool.
And people pay for video games like Call of Duty and Battlefield and expect realism, despite having infinite lives and the ability to get shot multiple times and walk it off like an animal bite.

What is it about Bumblebee that can take down, like, three 'Cons at once? In the first movie, I couldn't take a squadron with sabot with, like a million sabot rounds and three full grown Autobot soldiers to take down a tank 'Con. But it took a handicapped autobot scout tied to a tow-truck and a half-dead squadron to take the stupid thing down...

You all miss the point of this scene. The HUMAN instigates execution of prisoners, not the Deceptions.
Yes, Transformers 3 was never going to be a true Transformers movie, or the one most of us want, but it's the BEST of the bunch, we got 3 major plot elements from the classic animated series, we got plenty of decent action and it actually, unlike the other 3 movies, felt like a Transformers cartoon for once. Best of the bunch and a decent movie in its own right.
My favorite scene of all time because finally we saw Bumblebee fight for real for the first time.
Besides, looking at an HD pic, you can clearly see Soundwave all the way at the back holding Bumblebee down while barricade kills wheeljack.
tIn the begining all thought wheelie and the other one were worthless but really they kind of saved the day!!!!!
What's funny is that the Marines did a better job against a robot army (that had seemingly conquered the city) than Gotham's police force (while armed and expecting resistance) did against Bane's insurrectionists.

Freaken' Barricade had to shoot that poor Autobot that never did anything to the Decepticons. I'm glad he got his eyes sniped out and his leg blown off.
My idea of Que/Wheeljack's last words are: "We are all a bunch of good chaps, I mean you no harm.... Why did you have to do this ?
When bumblebee puts his face shield on BRUH!! you know it's game over
they should've at least make this fight longer, so it will look like bee had a hard time killing soundwave. Soundwave is a great decepticon that can't be defeated that easy
But that's just it. They also could've killed them both really quick instead of savoring the moment. That's what most villains do. They actually win the fight but they want to kill their enemy in a dramatic way and suddenly something sabotages the moment and the good guy wins.
