Just got mine installed and wanted to know if or how you re-routed the clutch cable? I’m on a 22 RGST and the way the clutch cable is routed through the gauge pod is just not working. Can’t wait to ride with these bars.
Couldn't tell you as I have an 18 with a hydraulic clutch. So idk how your clutch cable is routed. I didn't have any issues with cables or rerouting them to make them work
I ordered mine seven weeks ago, they haven't even shipped yet. But I'm still stoked about them because I just got to Va. and i'm not seeing anything out here like these 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 But the price has gone up since this video was released, they're $425 now plus $50 in shipping totaling $475.
Yeah I'm sure it's a result of the supply issues going on now. Sorry to hear about the wait but they are amazing bars. High quality and extremely well built
@@krayziesoulja5829 Yeah I got my bars, 7 1/2 weeks.. Install was a pain, but I got it done in a night. Make sure you have a solid plan on how you're gonna pull the cables through.. I used WD-40 to help me out 🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️
First you can go up to 14" rise without replacing lines or extending cables to start. If you want your hands a little bit higher than shoulder height I'd say if you're 5'7" the 12 inch rise would be perfect for ya. I'm 5'11-6'0 depending on shoes so my hands sit below my shoulders with these bars.
These look a lot like my Hammerheads, love the style and love not having to relocate everything for a tbar feel. I didn't have to worry about LA Choppers powdercoat because I knew I was recoating them immediately. Great review!
I was trying to decide between these bars and the LA Choppers Hammerhead bars, I like the look of these much better without the points on the top like the hammerheads! I think you have made up my mind... Thanks for the video and info!
Great looking bars! Can't wait to get mine in black. I'm currently on week 6 and still waiting for them to be shipped. That's the inly things that sucks.
That was my only complaint. Being they are made to order is a drag but the quality is top notch. All the edges and powder coating is flawless. They haven't faded to much either in the two years I've had them now
Thank u for the information..these are exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait til they come! I didn't quite wanna do T bars..but not quite aps either.! And I didn't wanna go to tall...and I hate the skinny bars. So thanks again buddy.
Not sure if its been mentioned but these are not BMC bars, they are Vindikta's and yes they are custom made, so much so, that you can call them or email them and they will modify any of their existing products to your liking.
do you think the 16in would be to big on a 2020 road king special..im 5'9 with longer than average arms. I have a stock seat but plan on getting a new one.
Just got my bars in, can’t wait to install them on my Road Glide. Do you like the mirrors mounted that way and can you see threw them good? Thanks for the awesome video
I needed them put down that way because the 14" windshield comes back too far to have them up. I see just fine with them down and really the style choice is nice. My bars are also only 12" so the mirrors are pretty low to see under my elbows.
Been looking for bars that are not wide but dont like the way T-bars block the gauges. Im 5’5” on a SGS. These may have just moves to the top of my list.
Brother I have a question … I just ordered these on a 14’’ and I’m 5.11’’ I’m nervous and was really debating between the 12s or 14s. Would y;u have preferred the 14? Thank you!
Meathed_Moto that’s great to know because I’m ordering a mustang seat so that will work than. I’m also going to install these my self, first time 🤞🏼 thank you for your reply.
Meathed_Moto brother one last question. As I mentioned earlier I order the 14’’. Do you think I have enough slack on the cables for the 14’’ or should I be proactive and order extensions for the lines? Everything I’ve found said I can fit 16’’ on stock cables but that doesn’t seem realistic. Thought 💭?
@@MeathedMoto I think it's fine since it is a motovlog. Maybe you could of jumped off the bike for a quick view of how they look from a different perspective.
I hate my 24 RG Ltd stock bars. Just bought it last week. Need new bars. This is a good review. Are you still running these bars?
I'm no longer riding the Road Glide but I was still using these bars when I sold it
I have mine but waiting to install with new mirrors, grips, clutch/brake controls.

You get your bars yet? I just put in an order an hour ago... they said lead time was 3 weeks. Just curious about a realistic time

Can you see your turn signal indicators and fuel gauge with the hoop?
Yes I can
Mirrors??? I like! Please provide information on?
They are the stock Harley mirrors I just flipped them upside down. Right side mirror goes under on the left side, left side goes under on the right.
Any pinching in the shoulders / base of the neck on long rides?
No not really for me
Are you still running them and liking them? Cause with shipping they are up to $475.
Just curious, are you able to see the Voltmeter and Fuel gauges?--thanks for sharing
Yes I am
I love the bars! Looks great,,, I’m 5’7”,,, any advice,, think before I order em,, fitment? Thanks!

Great video, good honest review. glad you like the bars.

I agree. Got these before LA Choppers released their versions of the t-bar work around. Overall they're great bars and have loved them

I've loved mine since the day I got them. You'll enjoy them too I'm sure!
What mirrors are those?
They are actually the stock mirrors flipped down. The right had side goes under the left side and vice versa
Are these the 12' or 14? And how tall are you?
They were 12"
Why was that yellow light flashing on your tach gadget in the video?
It's just the frame rate of the camera makes the cruise control light look like it's flashing but it's not
You still have them? Do u like them? I am 5’11 … 12” is okay for me?
I'm 5'11 actually as well and yes I still run them and yes they are comfortable for me and have no real plans to swap
aside: Im 5'9 and run the 12-inch vindikta... very comfy and has far more control than stock bars. I hope this helps.

I found they were a nice middle ground for the ease of install like most ape hangers are for Road Glides with the control and leverage of a Tbar
Meathed_Moto they look real comfy and sporty. Can't wait til mine come in the mail.
What's the circumstance of the bars? 1.5inch?
Yes
Thanks
No problem man 🤘
I’m really digging bro, mind you this was a year ago and now 2021 it’s already $379 :-/ and are they 1 1/2 size wise ?
Yes and yes. They probably went up due to material cost.
Buddy .. I like the Bars, can you show some slow speed skills with those Bars .. Figure 8's - U-Turn etc..
Not sure if its been mentioned but these are not BMC bars, they are Vindikta's and yes they are custom made, so much so, that you can call them or email them and they will modify any of their existing products to your liking.
Did you use an aftermarket riser or bushings?
Aftermarket bushings only.
do you think the 16in would be to big on a 2020 road king special..im 5'9 with longer than average arms. I have a stock seat but plan on getting a new one.
Youd have to up get longer cables and probably a different riser I'm not sure how wide the upper riser is on the Road Kings

These won't work on a street glide but i believe they have a bar setup for the modern street glides that are tbar like. Hope that helps

Thank you. Much appreciated.
Would it be possible for you to take side pic of the bike and with you sitting on it? I am interested in the crook of your arms.
Sure hmu on IG and I'll model it for ya
How tall are you? Do you wish you would have went with 14 inch bars?
In some aspects yes. Im 6 foot even so the 14 inch would be a bit nicer for me but I've got no complaints about the 12s.
@@MeathedMoto thanks for the input. I've been eyeing those bars since I bought my glide.
Awesome video
Has anyone installed the 14” bars and if so did you need to extend the cable?
Bmc has the details of what bars heights need what cables
Meathed_Moto Thanks dude, appreciate it!
What about for someone 5’2”??? I was gonna get the LA Choppers Hammerhead bars but have also looked at these in the 12”.
Did you mount your mirrors in reverse by choice or were they contacting the shield? And what brand / height shield are you running? TIA.
Im my latest video I explain why they were upside down and why they are not anymore. It was the shield
I like them 👍, are those mirrors the orinal just inverted? Can you open the small storages without problem ?
They are the original mirror just inverted. There is some minor problems opening the compartments
14 or 12
12
Brother I have a question … I just ordered these on a 14’’ and I’m 5.11’’ I’m nervous and was really debating between the 12s or 14s. Would y;u have preferred the 14? Thank you!
Im 6'0 and can go either way. If get a thicker seat like a saddlemen youll appreciate having the 14s
Meathed_Moto that’s great to know because I’m ordering a mustang seat so that will work than. I’m also going to install these my self, first time 🤞🏼 thank you for your reply.
Its a pretty easy install versus a bar/riser setup. Just take your time and you'll do fine man!
Meathed_Moto i will. Thanks pal!

Can you run heated grips with them?
I'm pretty sure you could wire them up to run heated grips. They have a larger internal diameter than stock Harley bars
Awesome vid bro, ride safe😎
Appreciate the feedback. You ride safe as well
On a scale of 1 to motherfu$&! How hard is it to pull the wiring thru those odd bends? I have heated grips so would have the extra wire for them.
Its probably a 7. Its not easy thats for sure but the bars pretty well open on the inside with minimal rough edges
Do you ride long distance if so are they comfortable?
t
Nice bars.
Thank you! I think i should've done the review off the bike but it's a bit easier this way to see the positioning
@@MeathedMoto I think it's fine since it is a motovlog. Maybe you could of jumped off the bike for a quick view of how they look from a different perspective.
What gloves are those?
They are an ICON glove. Wife bought them so idk what style it is
I ordered these for my Club style RKS special before I crashed it My buddy put them on his roadglide and says they’re amazing!!
They are worth every penny
Can I ask what size bars and how tall is he?
These are 12" rise and I'm 6'0
Did you have any problems with speed wobbles? I have mine pushed all the way forward.
No I'd say you might have another issue
