In theory it really should be a win win combination. Benefits of a trailed mower with the output of triple mowers without needing the colossal tractor 👍
Well that's not strictly true is it. Triple mowcons still take some HP,whether on wheels or fully mounted and that 700 series is only crawling along, purely because of lack of HP.
@@nigelclats6970 Perhaps, but it doesn't seem to be under any great strain. If memory serves me correctly, a 724 is around 240 horsepower and it's handling a 33ft mower without much difficulty.
@Oliver Mayo That's not really the point though. Not everyone will have use for a big awkward diesel guzzling 300 HP plus tractor for most of the year. In contrast, the 724 is relatively compact and would be a far more versatile option for many.
🇮🇪 built is better built guys!!! Fantastic idea although I’ve seen a similar but bigger trailed mowing system... it had 4 10ft on the back and one non 10ft on the front in NZ!!!
I tried a set,but only really practical on very, very big paddocks here and hopeless off deer and dairy farm laneways They were 14.8M cut and 250k NZD,with no grouping. My KV triple groupers are 10.4M and 170k NZD. 4M more for an extra 80k NZD,without groupers.
So nice to watch a video with no shite teenage disco music playin alongside it. Great job 👌
Thanks mate. i try avoiding using music
Great Cutting width great kit knocking of quick

Exactly that Mick, will be more open to farmers wanting higher output but can't justify the massive tractor

@Oliver Mayo The 724 is I think around 240 horsepower and it seems to be coping with the 33ft mower without much difficulty.

Awsome video good bit of kit 👍👍🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧👌👌🚜🚜👩🌾👩🌾
Serious job in fairness to them !
Yeah it's a fair tool
Beautiful!
Thanks :)
Brilliant video!!
Great video. Greets Stefan
Thanks stefan :)
The wheels at the back of the mowers must have steering built in.
No they are crazy wheels just follow to carry the weight
@@gregkoenig9200 they are steerable!
Yes same as twin rotor rake, forced steerign from the headstock.
Nice video 👌😀
Thanks ☺️
Could go with wider rear mowers in theory if they folded and sat lengthways in transport mode. Say 12/15ft.
Yeah they could, possibly something they can look at later on down the line

That's the sip mowers isn't it, would love to see one in the uk. But don't think they are bringing it here

Plenty of heavy swards for her to tackle..
It's hardly a new idea , the concept has been round ages , no good unless a huge field 👎👎
