And he told me his histories, when he went to Brasilia to work when the city were being builded up. Today i have 19 years and live in another city, i cant do it with my grandpa, but i wish do it in october when imma go to home town. It's worth than all the money of this world, it's a simple thing but got a infinite value. Thank you to make me feel it again with your video

Yes the leaf is bio degradable, 2. leaf is single use so hygienic, 3. need not wash before and after so water saved, 4. dishwasher electricity saved. 5. And most importantly after eating food the leaf can be fed to cows for getting milk or 6. the leaf can be cut and dried and converted into natural organic manure fertilizer for agriculture. 7. We save ecology by not using harmful chemicals to clean the plate and wash the chemicals down our sinks. Simply our fore father's wisdom was great. We should not go into chemical and plastic life style and should not spoil ecology. Cheers.

I live in Malaysia and was born and raised here. My great great grandfather is from India, pure india he came to Malaysia ,Pulau Pinang and married my great great grandmother. We even operate a restaurant in Penang that serves authentic curry from india, im mix, indian-malay. I grow up eating mostly indian food, looking at this makes me salivate😍😍😍 exactly like how my grandmother used to cook!!

I bet that tastes so freaking good. I could just taste the rice with the soup and chicken broth on it. Also love the natural outdoor style with the giant leaf. I swear, that thing looks cleaner than most plates, and I bet it is. Probably adds a little flavor to the food, somehow. I just love watching other cultures eating food, and even though it's completely outdoors with all the natural elements, it looks very sanitary, and even cleaner than some restaurants, and kitchens. I think that's against their religion to NOT put chili :D The thing I hate about Indian food is that is is SOOOO good and tasty that i forget what the spicy is going to to do me and i pay for it, O man do i ever. It is a vicious cycle.
We do. This is how we cook it. Pretty similar to Spicy garlic wings. For sauce: Grind fine saucy paste of Garlic, Paprika, soaked dry red chilies ( heat is almost like scotch bonnet peppers), Salt, black pepper, olive oil , lil water, lil lemon juice. Blend it till fine paste. Take ur wings or legs makes some cuts on them. Marinate with sauce for 10-30 min (Longer the better). Cook them however u like. I like mine baked. For deep fry, Bread them n cook and roll them in that paste afterwards " no need to marinate". Make sure to crack open a Beer and a shot of Whisky with it. Happy Eating! Be careful, It gonna be spicy!

I bet that tastes so freaking good. I could just taste the rice with the soup and chicken broth on it. Also love the natural outdoor style with the giant leaf. I swear, that thing looks cleaner than most plates, and I bet it is. Probably adds a little flavor to the food, somehow. I just love watching other cultures eating food, and even though it's completely outdoors with all the natural elements, it looks very sanitary, and even cleaner than some restaurants, and kitchens.
Before I die, I must try one of his dishes, and eat with him in his village, and definitely off that giant leaf lol.

most people in india don't eat off a leaf, its usually quite similar to anywhere else. Only some villages
the climate there with the very aromatic foods attract loads of flies though. So even if the rest is sanitary, the flies are a big obstacle.
I am from Tamil Nadu,India.We normally eat from proper plates,but during special occasions like festival or marriage we eat food from banana leaf.Its delicious too.

I have an indian friend who I worked with in a Gordon ramsay restaurant in 2008,he went back to India and opened his own restaurant and feeds many people for free too, he keeps inviting me and I would love to go one day. In the UK curry is not the same as it is in its motherland India. As a chef I also look forward to going over and trying the real Indian food one day!

We do. This is how we cook it. Pretty similar to Spicy garlic wings. For sauce: Grind fine saucy paste of Garlic, Paprika, soaked dry red chilies ( heat is almost like scotch bonnet peppers), Salt, black pepper, olive oil , lil water, lil lemon juice. Blend it till fine paste. Take ur wings or legs makes some cuts on them. Marinate with sauce for 10-30 min (Longer the better). Cook them however u like. I like mine baked. For deep fry, Bread them n cook and roll them in that paste afterwards " no need to marinate". Make sure to crack open a Beer and a shot of Whisky with it. Happy Eating! Be careful, It gonna be spicy!
