What a class act, and a tragic fate. He is sorely missed.
What a distinguished and honest demeanor Reeve had. A class act personality, that helped him to "Escape the cape", as he once put it. Had tragic fate not intervened, Reeve would still be with us, giving dignified, high caliber performances. God, I miss him.

He didn't care about Superman ..It was just a gig to him. He also called Superman's costume "silly".
He called his fans cultists and told them to Back off.
His Superman was a shallow cliche of the character...a hollow platitude.
There are many Supermans .
George Reeves was Superman to many kids and when he died those kids were depressed .
Cavill's depiction saved people from Suicide in real life.

Got to this from the Olivia Newton_ John one before. From one beautiful woman inside and out, too one handsome man, inside and out. 2 legends who I miss so much. Rip Olivia and Christopher Reeve.

Christopher Reeve is Superman.
Not just famous, but actually likable and a person with standards who a kid could look up to. I have fond memories of seeing his films at the Cinema and at Christmas. Its so sad and so bloody unfair what happened to him. We have a world full of a55*ol*s and evil people and yet Chris was taken way too soon and made to suffer too. Its just not right. One last thing, todays interviewers could take a leaf or two from Chris Kellys book - Let them speak, shut down your ego!

0:35 - little did he know those offers would eventually fizzle out as he would become typcasted as superman. one of the most intense typecasting he could not shed. even now after all these years i see reeve in other movies but part of me is still anchored in "when will he put on the cape?"
