  • Hello! Welcome back! Taking you behind the scenes in this video on a recent business trip to Algonquin Park. We had five beautiful days in the northeast corner of Algonquin Park. The trip started off with hubby catching a gorgeous lake trout and we canoed our way to the beautiful Barron River and Barron Canyon. This video shows a little more of what we do as content providers; rather than content creators. I did not film as much as I would have liked of what goes into our production shoots - our priority for this trip were our clients but I am glad I was able to get some quick behind the scenes shots to share with you.

Thanks for posting. I grew up visiting algonquin park many times thuo out 1968 to 1972. Rock lake was our spot with trips to pen lake and galerie lake to the town of Whitby. Not sure if my spelling is correct. The traffic now is astronomical. I took my son to Rock Lake in 1997. We had a great time going to Booths Rock and visiting the Galerie dam.

But THIS youtube video was all shot on my iphone 7 plus (with the exception of the moon shot) ! I have found the sound on my iphone to be really impressive compared to our cameras (unless using a deadcat). I went on camping trip to Algonquin Provincial Park with my Boy Scout troop in 1967 or 68? I can't believe the scout masters put up with us . All of us loaded in to a big dodge van. From western pa. We had crappy Korean war era half shell tents and lousy bed rolls and peanut butter and jelly. We had the best time a.kid could ever have.We had a campsite right down from a water fall or spillway of a small dam thing. A huge rock ledge we would jump off and plunge about 14 feet down into the cold clear leech filled water. We canoed all over the open watered lake, experienced bears , and basically were on our own without parents for close to 10 days! Looking back, the scout masters took their precious time to really make a difference in our lives. I thank them so much. They were dedicated and tried to make us into young men . I think they did a pretty good job getting us started.

I was 15 working as a camp counselor with Scouts Canada. We worked 2 weeks on and 2 off with the kids at Haliburton Scout Camp in Algonquin Park. In 3 years of working for Scouts Canada every summer, myself and a group of friends must have covered thousands of miles in the Park. The canyon brings back good memories and the catfish that would nibble on your toes in some of the still lakes. The bass fishing was amazing. Bush wacking and honing my orienteering skills back when there was no GPS. Great stuff, except for the really hot summers. When mosquitos and black flies all hung out in gangs on the lakes waiting for their next victims. Aww yes, bathing in DEET.

First video of yours i have seen and happens to be one of my favorite parts of Algonquin Park. Have seen it from the top almost 50 years ago and understand that there are native drawings on the rock walls of the canyon. Makes me wish I was young and healthy again. Only short day trips now. Subing your site now.

i saw the previous video it was awesome, but then i saw this one and i was disappointed, specially with the thumbnail, why do people sexualize everything nowadays

This is probably about 5 miles from the luxury cabin they are actually staying in.

    • @christopherskinner9140

And you're probably wrong. You can see their camp set up in each location if you bothered to watch the video. Why would they stay past sunset, then travel 5 miles in the dark to a "luxury cabin," then travel 5 miles back in the dark before sunrise to get the shots they took in the video? Just an FYI, life is more enjoyable when you're not so pessimistic.

My wife and I were supposed to be flying to Canada in a couple of days to do a road trip and head into the wilderness but with the pandemic scare we'd been advised by our foreign office not to travel. There's always next year.
