Jesus Christ! You have incredible skills!!! Beautiful, beyond words, stiching. And of course the interior.... oh wow! You really should consider selling them. I am deeply impressed. All the best for 2022! Janette
I love the new setup too! I love my Weeks Mega and use almost all of the pages. I’ve been doing it 3 years now. I bullet journal in the back. Something I have found invaluable is threading the pages of a collection, bullet journal style, or adding the previous and next instance at the bottom of the page. It was a game changer. Also, I use book darts for the most current instance of the collection. Another thing I’ve found helpful in the many pages is to pick a color and highlight 1-2 words of the most referenced entries. It makes scanning through the 200 pages much more manageable for me. I love that you are so adaptive and find joy in hearing about the things you learn about yourself and the changes you make to your systems to spend less time on the things you don’t love and more time on the things you do love! 🧡🖋
Ingenious! Now I wish I had purchased a Weeks mega. You have really streamlined the system in a very organized manner and it's still as creative as it is functional. Praying for safe travels and an uneventful move 🙏 ❤
The experience shared is greatly appreciated. My life needs more space for illnesses stuff related so medicines go with the type of illness, side effects, result, other lab studies, etc. Very helpful! I hope your moving again goes smoothly.Thank you🌹
What a year! No wonder you're "downsizing" your notebook system. The Weeks Mega looks like it will be perfecy. Keep us posted on the move if you can, but don't stress out about videos once things ramp up.
I love the endpapers you used so pretty and that sticker on the first page ahhh so pretty 😍 Sending so many positive vibes and so much positive energy your way! Love your videos and hoping you and your family are happy and healthy!!💕❤️🧿🎃
I hope you are moving to SC near me😂😂 Best of luck in your move, oh goodness I can’t believe y’all are doing it again, but...life. We both have the same exact idea of a beautiful maverick pattern! I am slowly buying leather crafting tools to start making some for myself too, inspired by your lovely hobby of course. Praying for your move to be an easy transition 💜
We were living in Spartanburg, SC before this move and I LOVED it! Not going back but still on the East coast which is where I like to be. I’m so excited for you to try leather crafting! I made my husband a horrible wallet a year ago and bless his heart he’s used it ever since. So I’m making him an upgrade for Christmas😄. Thank you for the prayers, Heather!
@@sarahmartinezjournals oh I hate that I missed that connection 😢 I’m only 40 minutes from there. Welp if you ever visit, you can bring the girls to the farm😊 I am sure my first pieces I make will be interesting.
I keep meaning to do one! Until then, I just lay the paper on the page and mark the length and width, cut at the marks with my paper slicer, then glue down with my tombow tape runner.
For tabbing the notes pages: A tiny bit of washi tape on the edge of the page (even not sticking out) can be a good (and not bulky) replacement for tabs. That’s what I did in my tiny Bible and it really does not get on the way but is quite useful.
They are most commonly found on Etsy. Shops like Danika58 and StationeryStation515. They’re usually not available long so you have to shop right after they’re released.
An idea for tabbing, is that some people take a small piece of washi and cover the edge, so it is more minimal then tabs. So maybe a solid blue, green and fuchsia. I cannot find the spot where you talk about the end page you used, could you tell me if you just screen shot and downloaded?
Good luck with moving again! I really detest moving 🤣 it’s a great idea to condense everything, especially when you have boxes everywhere and can’t find anything.
Oh my goodness! You’re moving again? We had to move a lot when our (7) kids were young. That’s a huge undertaking, but the second time will be easier than the first. Hang in there! I’m sure it will be worth it 😁
I know, right?! Luckily, we’re moving to a place we actually want to be so it makes it exciting this time😆. Also, I can’t imagine moving with 7 kids-you are a queen!
Love it Sarah! Q: Do you consider fitting of the book cover to include the Hobonichi Weeks Cover on Cover feature? I'm considering this particular one for 2022. I currently use two small calendars from Walgreens. One is a week on one page that kinda mimics the Hobonichi Weeks and one that is month on two pages; so, I would like to try this one. However, I would like to consider a cover that would hold the Weeks with the Cover on Cover. Any recommendations for consideration? Thank you in advance my beautiful friend. Best wishes and lots of Love in the move and new digs too. Xx
Hi, Cynthia! I don’t like to use the CoC inside a leather cover. The only leather maker I can think of that accommodates a CoC is chic sparrow. There may be others but I’m not sure! Thank you so much for watching♥️♥️
I love the inside cover print, do you remember where it came from? Also the monthly spread you showed with the house and lighthouse! I think it is clever that you are working towards the middle with your pages in the weeks. You do beautiful leatherwork. I hope you have a safe move.
You find the best stuff! If you’re like me, you probably haven’t completely unpacked 😂 I hope you have a stress free move. Maybe moving closer to Robin?
Great video- I just cannot do without the weekly spreads in the cousin! How are you sectioning the notes pages? How will you know how many pages you will need per section? xoxo
Thank you! I don’t know how many pages each section will need so as I move through the pages I will label each one appropriately. Continuity isn’t very important to me, but labeling is!
Sarah, you've probably already done this, but, take a picture of each page of your book in the back. Just incase, then if you have to recreate it, or only have your phone, you still have the info. Just a thought.
I’m getting rid of the A5 setup altogether. Such a shame because it was a great setup for me, but I know myself, and simple will be key in the new year!
@@sarahmartinezjournals Yes I was wondering. Many people seem to be saying that the a5 is large and they don’t use it all. I do like to be able to spread out a little. But the weeks is so portable and concise. I find that some journals I have bought will probably be used as information or art journals.
I wasn't able to save the endpapers .... did you do something special to save the image? it's almost like the "save as image" option is deleted. Do we need to purchase it? thanks!
I just printed the actual webpage. I zoomed in by changing the zoom percentage in my printer settings to make sure I got the image as big as I needed. Hope that helps!
I love the scalloped pockets 💕💖💕💖💕💖 rarely seen leather covers this cute
Thanks so much!!♥️
Your planning system is so smart, especially how you set up the back pages in your weeks. I’m glad I watched this video, it was very helpful to me.😊
I’m so glad to hear that! Thank you♥️

What awesome ideas!! Thank you so much for all the advice. I’ll definitely be considering some of these🙌🏼
I like the idea of tracking sick days on the first page. I’ll do that this year for me and my husband. Thanks for the idea! 😊

That cover is gorgeous. I love the Maverick leather

I LOVE the scalloped design! 🥰

Sarah great re-visioning, appreciate the tips. Thank you, Yeah my 2021 set up sucked, I even went to rings...streamlining for 2022

My internet is trash lately, I have not been able to watch a full video that I start without long spiral loading breaks. Thanks

Sarah what pen do you use in the weeks? That ink is so beautiful and black.
I hope you’re doing ok. I’ve missed seeing your videos

I don’t, I’m sorry! I think Joyful Paw Prints on Etsy does Maverick covers.

I copied chic sparrow’s removable pen loop because I need it to be leather too. You’ll need to make a cut on the leather cover but I didn’t mind it
