Clay works better for me bc I have thick straight asian like hair and they help weigh my hair down while giving them a more messy style as opposed to frizzy and unmaintained

I tried the sea salt spray + blow drier method and it doesn't work for me bc it makes my hair even more coarse and unmanageable than they already are
