I love your style. This came out perfect. I love how bright it is, the paint color, and the wallpaper. I have a suggestion for the lamp, maybe try a battterry powered votive. They dont provide much liight. They are more for ambiance. .

Love it guys! Suggestions because y’all are my super man and Wonder Woman! Try to find or create a metal covering for the electrical that can still be painted on the outside and can just snap open for quick action in case of emergency where you need to shut off quickly
And paint it the mushroom color!
Maybe on the electrical cover put a flat small molding ie look like a picture frame

Hey Marcus. You are a Sigma. We lost our son suddenly in 2022. He was a phenomenal young man. He was also a Sigma out of Morgan State University. His line brothers were a great comfort to us during this difficult time for us. They all showed up for him. My husband is also a Sigma out of Hampton University.. Omg you should paint that board on the electrical panel to match the wall so it can blend in better especially if you wanna do the gallery wall the art can stand out and not the wooden panel!! Came out beautiful!!💕

Y'all did such a wonderful job with the entry. The only thing that concerns me is you didn't put the metal door back on the electrical panel. I'm so afraid a circuit would arc and burn the wood panel. You can still cover the metal door with the wood panel for the aesthetics.
Yes! We will put the metal thingy back. Marcus dad said the same thing!! Marcus just couldn’t find the screws ! We removed it right after getting the clips for y’all ♥️♥️♥️

I would take down the 3 diamond shaped hanger in the cubby, and that is where I would put the pretty framed and floral picture in its place. Unexpected, warm and inviting, great focal point. You both did a wonderful job. So pretty, peaceful, elegant, and welcoming.

I totally agree on the hanger in the cubby. While it has a function it does not align with the beautiful and elegant wall paper decor in that area. The elegant paper decor should be the focus. And, there are more elegant racks that would match the paper while meeting you functional purpose.

Me too and it just kept coming and coming and coming off. Why buy a cane bench. When stripped bare it was nothing. I'm shocked Kayla didn't keep the cane. It's SO expensive and that bench was well made DAMN I wanted to scream STOP I'll buy it as is lol

I have a front door with the windows as well. I don’t like the fact that people can walk up to my porch and look in so I took this paint from Michael’s that you can paint on glass and make it look a little more wavy so that people can’t see directly into your house just an idea.
All my doors are glass paneled My house was built in 1932. I have the original lace curtains that cover the windows or gauze type door panels I wanted to suggest that to Kayla. Lace would look sweet on front door.

What a great job you and Marcus did! So much work went into the hallway and it looks great. I agree with you, there needs to be a cushion on that closet wallpapered bench. The wood that’s on there now looks temporary. Maybe another cushion similar to the one that you did on the window seat in the office? I also think you should paint the wood that’s covering your electric box the same colour as the wall. It is kinda standing out. I like the paper roll idea or you could also consider a tapestry. All in all, amazing job. Thanks for taking us on the journey.

What color and brand was the white paint? The electric box is different than an electric panel box? And, be careful not to insert a nail hole in that wood.

Glad to see y'all back. Missed y'all hope you enjoyed your vacation. Have you thought about putting wallpaper on the electric panel covering or paint it the color of the wall half and half. The brown to me doesn't blend just my opinion. I looks like one of the doors that you forgot to paint. Marcus is right paint the bricks, if you want to remember the wall take a picture and put it in one of your frames. I must say overall that it does look beautiful.

Idea: for electrical outlet cover box cover the bottom half with bead-board and paint same
Color as wall and lay a piece of trim on top to align with wall trim. On upper half of electrical box cover paint white. This way it will blend into
Your wall design instead of sticking out.
I helped a friend paint her baby room and I noticed that Marquee paint would lift up off the wall if I went over a spot I already painted. It was frustrating. Yes it slips around, and lifts easily. Also very thick and hard to paint an even layer. Overall it looked great at the end and when it dried it looked beautiful. But after 2 coats! Not one.
I like the mushroom color for the doors. Especially because they are a high traffic area. But i also love the "color drenching" effect.
