i’m 23 years old, a mom of 2, got my GED in 2016 and have just decided to go back to school and pursue a career as a veterinarian 😬 (a little crazy i know) & i absolutely love watching your videos, really hope you’ll continue to make them for years to come!
Hi guys!! I hope you enjoy another vet school vlog! If you have any tips on how to become a morning person, let me know 😂 also, let me know what you think about the study guides (if you’re interested/what else you would like to see) 🐾
As a high school student, I’m interested in what you have in mind lol! I study disease complexes, infections, anatomy as well so I will definitely purchase some!
Hi, I just wanted to say than you for these videos; they have been inspiring me to become a vet. I also have a question; how did you know you wanted to work with large animals? :)
Aw thank you so much! That’s awesome to hear! And I actually don’t think I want to work with large animals once I graduate, I’ll probably go into small animal practice. In first and second year of vet school we have to learn how to work with all species regardless of what our plans are in the future ☺️ but I will say, I really do enjoy working with the cows in lab!
Hi Amanda! Im a mexican vet student still on my first year though , I recently discover your channel and you have become a huge motivation for me, specially because I started vet school online cause in my country is still not possible to get practices or lab , the situation is very rough and watching your videos had made me more enthusiastic specially that my classes will start on Tuesday, so thank you for everything and I also want it to say that Im also interested on your guides, they will be very helpful besides of improving my scientific English ... one more subscriber !
Girl I love your videos and so glad you got to do some clinical stuff even though its not as often as you'd like to, watching them always feels like I am catching up with a friend, all the best with your study guide making :) ! xx
@@yourvetamanda Thanks! I've been watching your videos and the videos of other current students across North America to obtain as many study tips as possible!
Hi Amanda, I'm a French girl and I'm in my first year in vet school in Romania and I would like to say to you that I love a lot your videos which are very interesting and you are really a big help for me! I would be very interested about your study guides because I'm completely in the learning of anatomy and it would be a very good help for me! Thanks a lot for your videos and keep going, you are very inspiring! 🤩
I would but the guides as well and I'm not even in vet school... (yet, hopefully!). Also, you should formally call your interruptions "Amanda's Interruptions" and make it an official segment 😂
Hi Amanda! I have a couple of questions about guelph university, because I am thinking of going to university there and I was just wondering if you have any tips on how to get in, and what the minimal grades are to get into the program thank you so much I love your videos! 😁
Hi! I think the minimal grade to get into each program is listed on their website but for animal biology (the undergrad I took) I believe the cutoff is an 80-84%, hope this helps 😊
I am interested in the guides! Would we be buying like a pdf version that we could then print out? Just asking because I just started an undergrad level anatomy course and found it super helpful to laminate printouts of diagrams that I can label over and over.
I’m a junior in high school and I’m trying to plan what classes I should take in undergrad. I want to become a vet and I don’t know what to do lol. Do you have any suggestions to what classes I should take?
Also your videos have really inspired me, tbh I’m doing a lot better in school and I have a lot more motivation now. Thank you for making these videos, you are a beautiful soul🙂
This is so sweet, thank you 🥰 depending on what program you’re taking there might be certain courses that you have to take, but make sure you check the vet school you want to go too and see which prepreqs you need to apply to that specific vet school! Beside the prereqs, I think anatomy and physiology are super helpful to take in undergrad!! Good luck with everything 🤍

Yes! I’m thinking of just making digital copies and that way people could download them and either print them or keep them on a computer or ipad! ☺️
Can you go for an OVC tour?😁
