    Omg this is amazing!! We cut back salt and did an overnight marinade and threw the bird on the rotisserie. 10 out of 10 will make again and routinely! Want to try on a bed on onion/potatoes/carrots in the oven too🎉 TYSM for this. What a winner!

    My favorite piece is the drumstick, as well. I like cooking with wine, it has a unique flavor that can't be matched.

    For those of us without a grill, is there a way for us to do this in the oven?

      I’m guessing roast in the oven and finish with the broiler.

      We cut back to 1tsp salt and marinated overnight - then did rotisserie grill. Was amazing. Nothing was off about texture.

    I make Roasted Chicken like this once every two weeks, and from the chicken bones I save to make a broth and I don’t forget about the chicken fat for smalts
    But I can’t grill were I like so my oven gets a workout.

    Seems like it's delicious but I prefer charcoal. That element of nature heat adds so much flavor

    • @mddell58
      @mddell58 Місяць тому +5

      However, in addition to the risk of cooking food at high temperatures over
      an open flame, charcoal can produce a lot of smoke,
      which can increase cancer risk.

    This looks delicious Thank you! I vote for thighs are the best! How about just marinating it in the baking dish and skipping the plastic? Too much plastic killing the earth and all its creatures.
