My 1700 is 1979 model. Zero mods to my humpback. Fits just like it did on 8N. It was a blue one from mid-60s.

On windy days, keep your back to the wind, Or get a wind screen or wind muff, Happens to everyone. We shoot videos all the time for commercials. Good luck, I like the tractor and the sickle. Had one on the farm here in Hockley Texas.

I just bought a Ford 501 7' sickle mower at an auction. It very clean and apparently was well taken care of.
I will be using it on my Ford 3600 tractor. It's seems like it should fit on there ok.
Also how to I check moving parts before mounting it on my tractor. What should I look for?
