That video wasn't supposed to be uploaded but many asked for it. So here is Apostoli's reaction to the song that was done exactly after MARUv won. In the first part of the video Apostolis talks about what happened and his thoughts. So sad for what happened to Ukraine..

@@apstepmusic5730 με την λογική της Jamala, η Κύπρος δεν έπρεπε να πάει το 2004 στην Τουρκία και εμείς θα έπρεπε να απαγορεύσουμε τα Σκόπια να λάβουν μέρος το 2006. Και στις 2 περιπτώσεις, και οι 2 χώρες πήγαν καλά.
I understand that you don't care about Crimra. Half of our country feel the same. But we have another part (some of them lost theirs sons, husbands on this war, during Maruv gave concert in Russia). And it was not easy decision, because broadcaster had to find right version. Half of Ukrainian people wrote a lot of negative comments, that they don't agree if this women will represent Ukaine. During Ukainian mans was on the war, Maruv made fun for russians. I try to understand 2 points of viev. But you cant. If you have no war in your country. As for me, i um upset of this situation.

Cyprus and Greece always vote for each other. Same with other "neighbours". Isn't that politics? Stop being delusional and hypocritical. Anyway, Maruv should have been in Tel Aviv

Eurovision was always political show. Every participant has flag on their shoulders, and they represents their own country.
This is not about Crimea. We’ve lost not only territory, we’ve lost more than 10 000 of people through the last 5 years. And this girl just goes to aggressor country to earn money there and then talking that “Music has no boundaries”, and she is “the bird of peace”.

I'm from Poland, my country wasn't even on the map for 123 years and was communist for 44. I respect all the countries. But on a PEACEFUL SONG CONTEST politics are unacceptable. The only thing that I don't respect in some countries are ''patriotic" people who want to push politics everywhere. Russia is Polish historical enemy, but our people don't eliminate talented artists just because they want to improve their career. If you want to push politics everywhere, do that. But don't think someone will like you.
So why Russia competes if its in war too? Why Israel competes if they were in war with Arab people and is the host?

Would you say the same if Russia kill 10 thousands of Poland people( including your friends or family ), occupied Gdańsk and Krakow. Ukraine bring politics to a Eurovision song contest ! NO DON'T DO THAT ! what politics has to do with a song contest ? I didin't like the song... but it was unfair for Maruv ! They wasted a 2 hour show just to cancel the winner thanks to politics ! Like she said "She is a musician, not a pawn of politics"

Haha, You didn't like the song, so you so passionate about to keep this song in contest, very "logical"! I love the song, but I'm glad it does not participate in Eurovision, because it would not be appreciated by the crowd of brainwashed individuals by anti Ukrainian propaganda. Maruv artist and strong individual with strong political views, she said "Crimea is Ukrainian", so she is brining politics to contest too!

Stop bashing Jamala. She asked that question to HELP Maruv. There was a lot of media coverage of that issue in weeks leading to the final, so it was crucial that Maruv made her position clear to get votes. People really need to stop commenting on stuff they know nothing about. That show took place in a completely different cultural context than what most of these angry people are used to and therefore they can't possibly understand what was going on. Not to mention that everyone is commenting on that short bit in English, but there was actually a lot more said in Ukrainian. Just drop this.
Also, I'm (non-Ukrainian) Eurovision fan and I do care about what happened in Crimea. I agree, it doesn't have a place in Eurovision but saying that we just don't care is... wow... maybe some of you would change your mind if your country became occupied.

Some smart people here. I agree 100 % Telling "I don't care about Crimea", it's like "I don't care Hitler killed all these Jews". Maruv's brother is drafted in Army to this war, so she does care to say "Crimea is Ukrainian".
This was a top 3 material BUT Ukraine made a huge mistake. . I hope Russia wins so that they cannot participate in the next year too!!!
