Hi its Victoria from home educating the mad lads on the husbands phone. We don't have those books here in the UK but I 100 percent agree you can learn so much from books x
We have these but haven’t read them all yet. My oldest (12) feels like she’s too old for for them and my youngest (5) isn’t quite ready for them. But I’m with you - I’m definitely learning from them!! I think they have some books for older kids too, I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for the review and sharing what your kids are getting from them!
It may not be quite as entertaining for your 12yo, but if you used them as supplemental school material for social studies, I think she'd prefer them to regular old school books ;) A lot of the vocabulary in these books will still be challenging for her and new things for her to learn! They will go over the 5yo's head for sure, but he will likely still find them interesting to sit and listen to if you and your 12yo read them aloud together :)
I've considered getting these. I read one of them and found it a bit gimmicky with the twins, but my kids might like it to see twins like them. However, I'd have to pretead them. "The Golden Rule" depicts kids' poor behavior and how they spolohize and make amends. My kids tend to follow the entire example, not just the lesson at the end. Do you think any of the other books might be like that or are they more like field trips instead of behavioral lessons? My oldest twins are 5.
Oh goodness! YeahI understand that and you certainly don't want that! The other books feature some adults having bad attitudes (but they are pointed out that it's not the appropriate way to act) and point out adults in government roles and business owner roles that are making poor decisions - not sure that any of those would be things kids could imitate anyway though. I very much respect parents pre-reading/viewing things before their kids though - very wise!
Which book are you most excited to read first?
I love our Tuttle Twin Set. My kids have multiple times read these!
That's awesome!! Ours like them even as bedtime stories!
I have heard great things about these books! Thanks for sharing them with us!
Thanks for watching! They're really well done!
I'll be getting the entire series for my nephews for Christmas thanks for this great video!
AWESOME!! Thank YOU!

And yes! I saw on their website recently that they have books for teens now! We haven't read any of them yet, but definitely something to look into!!
