Great presentation. No nonsense well-informed teaching. I'm rereading the Bible myself with the Holy Spirit I'm up to Thessalonians. Pastors are leaving the church. Two Pastors have died from in the same church. I'm looking locally. No church is perfect. I stumble across this one which I am enjoying. I just want to learn each chapter, each verse in each day

I so much enjoy watching/listening to your archives and Live. I pray that the church I go to would teach like this but they don't. There is no church in my little town that teaches like this so yes I enjoy very much watching you and Calvary Chapel churches. You mention a church uses your archives for church service, I guess if they don't have a pastor that teaches like this is alright but I would rather sit in a church that has a pastor preaching and teaching like this. I can always see videos or online at home, which I do. I go to this church because I want to be around Christians and fellowship. All I can say I God Bless You and please keep this church I go to in prayer, sadly they are looking for a pastor because this one is leaving. Yes its that kind of chuch. I Praise God for Chuck Smith. Matthew 24:36 said “But of that day and hour knoweth no man…” Now, read the verse just prior which is verse 35. Many, many people ignore this verse. “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away but of THAT day and hour knoweth no man” (caps added by me for emphasis) THAT day is the day that no man knows; the day that heaven and earth shall pass away (heaven and earth do not pass away at the rapture). Continue reading the rest of the entire chapter and Jesus says that no man will know the hour that the Son of man comes. We are told to watch and if the goodman had watched, he would have known. So, we can know the day but not the hour that the Son of man comes because we are Watching. Verse 50 said that the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he (the servant) looketh not for him and in an Hour that he is not aware of. The word ‘day’ is not used in the remaining portion of the chapter. Children of God, we are to look for and be aware of the day. God’s will be done. So, when Jesus said He did not know He was actively humbling Himself and taking the form of a servant (see Philippians 2:7-8). Jesus voluntarily restricted His knowledge on that point. It was part of Jesus’ submission to the Father (see John 5:30; 6:38; 8:28-29) and His mission to live a human life. Jesus, now exalted in heaven, surely knows all, including the timing of His second coming.
Could it be that He's waiting to hear our groaning and our cries but being luke warm we want to stay here till the last dog is hung. we're still so comfortable here see Ps61:1; 18:3; 25:1-3
