Hey, Jenna! Dylan writing here, and I just wanted to say that it's great to hear you know when to take a break. I think that your happiness and health come before any content. Hope the personal stuff you are facing only makes you stronger. As well, thank you for constantly championing Seize the Bean! It means the world to me and the team. And you are right: we are preparing a 2nd edition. So for sure, I'll reach out and let you know when pre-orders or a campaign go live so you don't have to hold back talking about it due to lack of availability. :) Enjoy the time off and see you after the break!
I've seen Cartographers on other people's lists too, and I've always been hesitant to play games that have a "blank"-and-write nature to them for whatever reason. I really do need to give them more love! And I feel your struggle! I need more board gaming friends too.
I have never heard of Seize the Bean but now I'm INTRIGUED. I'm gonna try and find it because the play seems to be right up my alley and also that art? So good! Thanks for these suggestions!
Downstream is a really, really good addition. It also sorta levels up the game in a way that improves the experience and helps create more strategic opportunities into a game that sometimes comes down to just the luck of the draw.
Take care of yourself. Hope the next week goes well for you, in terms of productivity and good brain vibes. And would love to see more of the year videos.
So not surprised that Hadrian's Wall is your favorite 2021. Solid game! Looking at games by year is a neat idea. I'd love to see more. Take it easy. This is supposed to be enjoyable, not stressful. ((HUGS))
Hope everything is ok and you get the time to process what you’re feeling. Content can wait 😊 Although if you’re looking at years, the whole of the 2000’s would be interesting. Maybe one from each year as they ramp up to the 2010’s…
My own number 1 is Seize the Bean. I started to incorporate the Founders into my solo plays. There is still so much I can add to the game. Currently I am waiting for Final Girl. Overall a great game selection.
So many great games from 2021! We missed most of the year because Jayne was severely ill but we are getting many of these on the table finally! Final Girl is *chef's kiss*! We play it as a two player game.
I am so glad that I have made a visit to your channel. I was subscribed, but did not get to watch any videos until now. I like the basis of a channel that goes over board games, especially since video game playthroughs and reviews are huge online and among reviewers. These games all seem to be role-playing board games and I am honestly not too familiar with role-playing board games or games in general, except for Dungeons and Dragons, because I know a good handful of people that have D&D groups. I like how you play games on your channel as well. We have played a few games, but many were created and are not necessarily "board games," and we are a Booktube channel, so most of our content is discussion about books and other written works. We did, however, film two games of Jenga that we want to release on our Patreon when we reach our first milestone. Speaking of Patreon, I love how you give patrons the ability to vote for the game that you and Francis play. Thank you for sharing and I hope everything goes well during your break. I think it is important to be able to give yourself the ability to create the best possible content that you can reasonably put forth. -Josh
I think I may pick up Final Girl based on what you mentioned about it. Hadrian's Wall seems intriguing but it looks seriously complicated which would be difficult to get others who aren't into heavy gaming to play.
I know you didn't mention anything, but praying for your life's dealings lately and that even in the bad times that God brings you peace in those storms. Take the break! Just like with everything: if your fear is that you'll lose momentum...you will lose EVERYTHING if you crash and burn personally. Genotype is one of my absolute favorite games. For board game friends, it's OK to find friends that are JUST for board games. I've had the same group for going on 10 years and we've NEVER done anything that wasn't centered around board games. We're still great friends that just choose to center around that facet of our interests. Find them online (social media, BGG through the "Find Users" and meet publicly until you feel comfortable with them in your home). You just need one. You'll be surprised how every once in awhile after: someone else will be put into your path. :)
Takie as much time off as you need! ❤️ I'm trying to get Seize the Bean but its almost impossible in my country ☹️ and it's not easy to find english version in other countries with reasonable price. Meadow and Genotype I also love. I wanna try Stardew valley and recently I bought Hadrian's Wall and can't wait to play it ❤️
Definitely want to see Ark Nova solo on Twitch! I have owned this for awhile and haven’t learned or played yet. I like to hit solo modes before getting my wife to play. And Solo is how I get to play as many games as I want to play.

There is more planning in Meadow than it first looks I quite enjoyed it as a solo game so I can sit and plan without holding up other players 😅
I loved this list and so glad you’re enjoying final girl!! 🎉 get some much needed time to relax for a bit jenna! 💪🏽

I’m big on horror, so automatically Final Girl immediately peaks my curiosity.

Go! Confront the problem! Fight! Win! And call me when you get back, dahling, I enjoy our visits.
Loving the list. Quite a few favorites.
I got Hadrian's Wall per your recommendation and I am really loving it!
Thoughts on Coffee Roaster? It's been on my solo game want-to-try list for a long time.
Take all the time you need, your content is worth waiting for!

Enjoy your break. It’s very important to take time off. Thoughts and prayers your way on that not so good thing happening in your life.
I bought a lil too many games after seeing your vids, enjoy your time off
You’re content always feels quality over quantity, excited for videos in the future but am always willing to wait
We can only second everything said here!

May we ask which country you are in so we can help find if there's a copy of Seize the Bean near you?

BoardGameBliss has super deluxe radlands in stock as of 2023-02-26 @ 16:00 ET

Hello Jenna, I enjoy watching your videos. Have you Played Ark Nova yet, I don't hear much about it and my wife and I absolutely love this game.
Take your time! ❤❤❤ You are worth it.
Take care of yourself - no pressure!
I'd maybe go by decades for future lists. new content will also take up a lot of time given release schedules.
For me it’s Destinies for sure
My favorites of these are Ark Nova and Meadow.
