  • One of the great things about living in New York and the East Coast of North America is seeing seasons. A passage of time through the environment. So beautiful!
Since we are currently in autumn we decided to embrace it with exploring what New York and Massachusetts have to offer, with a focus on art and foliage.
We drove from Brooklyn to Opus 40, which is an amazing sculpture park in Saugerties, New York created by Harvey Fite. The experience was very moving and the trip is well worth if for anyone interested in art and architecture. As a bonus, seeing it in the fall added a great level of spectacularity!
Then we went apple picking at Rose Hill Farm, which was a pleasant and fun thing to do. Plus, since we live in "the big apple", it only made sense, right?
Afterward we checked our Art Omi, which is an outdoor sculpture park in Ghent, New York. Having never been there before we didn't know what to expect. Well, let's just say it was way bigger than we thought, and that's a good thing.
All mentioned so far encompasses DAY ONE from our FOUR DAY trip. The day was pretty packed and fulfilling. Stay tuned for DAY TWO...
