Where did you get your new brake shoes from? Just got a ts150 and I think mine are probably original from 1975 so could do with changing. Going to be fitting me22's next week not sure if this has just put me off 😂
EBC shoes from eBay. Same on the rear. I found cheap ones fitted the front, but really hard to fit on the rear. EBC went straight in. Probably will last me now. Tyres are really good, when I got pressures right. Of course fitting them is less fun. But worth it - Good Luck! 👍 PS take precautions with old shoes, they may contain asbestos.
Certainly NOT cheap. What kind of roads you mainly riding? Here it's very narrow, congested motorways, with nowhere to go in a blow out situation. No guarantees of course, but I feell safer on tubeless. If I was rural, with little traffic, maybe I'd feel different. 👍👍
Got to say I miss old Wolfgang. But can't keep them all. I think tubeless wheels cost me about £1800. You can sell the original wheels to recoup some of it. But it isn't a cheap option. Good luck whatever you decide. 690 ER, best bike KTM ever made imho. 👍👍
You can do your own tyres on your MZ but not on your Honda so tubes cant be that bad! That feeble inflator is actually SLOWER than a floor pump. Getting wheels off will be a breeze when you finally get hydraulic bike lift. I'm happy owner of MZTS 125 D214 KKO. Its my my main transport too, not a novelty bike! 3000 miles since buying it 8 months ago.
You can't take a bike lift out with you. My point entirely. You can plug n go tubeless tyres in a few seconds. Enjoy your MZ. Had mine since 1984. It was my main transport for 6 years, 12000 miles never failed to start. Pump is great. Portable. Charges phone. Will pump up 4x car tyres on a charge. 👍

Swatting up for the next race then 😉😂
I knew you'd pick up on that! 👍😂
@@CodgerBiker I knew that you'd know that I'd pick YOU up for that! 🤣
😉
I’m still debating going tubeless on the 690 but cost to switch over is ridiculous 🙄

@@CodgerBiker yeah I do very little to almost zero off road
Mostly highways and some interstate with an average speed of about 55 to 65 MPH
