The Industrial Revolution first took place in england. The simplest form of the revolution was people are not making products any more but machines and new technology. England was the first country where this started because it had lots of people and lot of river ways which also help deposited energy. We also see england have lots of coal because it fuels the machines and help produce iron which equals steel. The money and wealth moved regular farmers to the city to work in the factories. farms became a huge movement called the enclosure movement where rich people would buy land and connect it all to build a mega farm. All these inventions worked together and gave each other an upper hand like the sewing machine being used together with the steam engine. We also see boats and factories use this to help people in many ways. The cotton gin was an amazing invention which allowed one person to do the work of 50 people. Eli whitney raised the rise of slaves due to cotton being very easy to be used. Henry Bessemer makes steel.

I don’t agree about the fact that one of the advantages was a high population but the opposite. A few centuries before , a tragedy called Black Death spread all around the island killing many many people. It was horrible on a hand, but on the other hand it didn’t lead Britain to become an overpopulated country, which meant that everybody could be fed and found a job and that the salaries could be higher...Britain wasn’t overpopulated at the time the Industrial Revolution started and this is considered an advantage

Spinning jenny did as name suggests - it spun yarn. Cartwright is the inventor who comes up with the mechanized loom the weaves.

The cause of the Industrial Revolution was due to only one invention.
James Watt's invention of the world's first practical Steam Engine ( in Scotland, by the way. ).
There were no practical Steam Engines before him, just a few Newcomen Atmospheric pumps and Waterwheels.
James Watt dumped Newcomen's Atmospheric power for Steam power.
He had to invent a new engine to achieve this.
There were other small inventions, the general advancement of technology.
But nothing that had the impact of James Watt's invention of the Steam Engine.
    It was a Power revolution.
The change was so great, on looking back, that they had to call it an Industrial Revolution.

inclusive of that,Britain had colonies..ie Zimbabwe , this provided raw materials and in addition to that, the Africans would trade their minerals with the finished products made in Britain

In Britain from 1800 to 1900.
    20,000 Waterwheels decreased in number.
    Windmills decreased in number.
Englishman Thomas Newcomen's 1,500 Atmospheric Pumps disappeared.
Scotsman James Watt's 500 Steam Engines and their descendants increased in number to 10,000,000 !!!
So, for every single Waterwheel in 1800 we now have 500 Steam Engines in 1900 !!!
That's an increase of 500 times in Power availability for the whole country, and the same for Production capacity.
    In one human lifetime!
And it only needed one Invention.
James Watt's Invention of the world's first PRACTICAL Steam Powered Engine.
    It was a Power Revolution.
Spinning and Weaving had nothing to do with the Industrial Revolution. But they benefited from it, like everything else.
Thousands more Factories, Steamships, Locomotives etc.etc.
    Pretty simple really.
Waterwheels and Rivers had nothing to do with the Industrial Revolution.

I don't think the speed of the rivers was much of a factor. Wouldn't the size (depth/width) be much more important? Actually, I would argue that speed would have a negative effect on growth of cities because boats don't just go downstream (50% of the time they are going upstream).

That's not how the Watt steam engine works. What you have drawn looks like an Aeolipile. If you ever remake this video maybe sketch out a Newcomen steam engine. They are pretty easy to draw and are closely related to the Watt steam engine. Otherwise, pretty good summation!

Industrial Revolution could not have occurred in England unless Robert Clive occupied Bengal in India, from where all the capital to build factories in England came. But the British historians do not mention that at all. The money came from the exploitation of Bengal in India since it was occupied by the East India Company in 1757. India also provided the market in the 19th century and as a result industry in India was wiped out due to the free trade with Britain.

Indian industry did not exist at that time. It started in the 1850’s using imported machines from England.
The capital to build the factories was generated internally.

augnkn93043 The introduction of the railways in 1853 by the colonial British government helped penetrate the self-sufficient rural economy. With the forced introduction of machine manufactured goods, especially finished cotton goods from the factories in Britain (making use of advances from the Industrial Revolution), the domestic textile industry suffered losses. Being an important node in the rural economy, the Padmashali community also naturally felt the impact. Many Padmashalis as a result settled in the urban and semi-urban areas for better opportunities.

Check the info on the English peasants and the Enclosure before relying on it. Look for feudalism.
