Btw Karst Formation in Maros and Pangkep in South Sulawesi (that you pass during trip to Tana Toraja from Makassar) already become UNESCO Global Geopark in 2022. @@jordimartorellardura4263 it's on the east coast of gorontalo, if you arrive with the night ferry from the Togean Islands, you can directly be picked up at the harbour, it's a 20min drive from there. If you tell the drivers you want to see whalesharks they know where to bring you ☺️ have fun there!

We had been there in June! :) Jan/Dec are quite rain heavy months fyi

In general the best time for traveling Indonesia is September I would say. Here in this video we have been in June, and was also really nice!
Sulawesi,s countryside and jungles are so dangerous because pythons snakes live over there.few days ago a woman was swallowed by a 32 feet long python in Sulawesi.Similar incidents happened in Sulawesi few weeks ago.its a dangerous place.
Memang pulau Sulawesi dan kepulauan di sekitarnya adalah surga yg penuh teka teki karena masih sedikit yang tau , kecuali beberapa UA-camrs dari mancanegara yg pernah datang itupun cuma pd garis besar nya saja belum lagi yg masih jauh kedalam yg terpencil karena masih belum ada jalanannya ke sana , yang kebanyakan orang tau hanyalah Jawa , Bali , Lombok , Sumbawa dan Sumatera saja , kalau Sulawesi masih jarang orang tau
