    Yeah that's a pretty outrageous statement there are so many players as fast and as clean as Al, its impossible for there not to be in this day and age.... McLaughlin is a really easy example that jumps to mind.

    how are his techniques a secret. you can see him doing them. he got good the same way anyone has ever got good at anything. by taking it slow and practising alot

    Yeah Bireli is fantastic, I think the point I was trying to make is that technique isn't a big deal for players around Al's caliber, a lot of guitarists who aren't as musically knowledgeable as Al have technique just as good if not better... anyone can develop it.

    playing tango the best is luis salinas but al is one of the best in jazz-rock and is the fastest.

    Al Di Meola came to my town and I talk with him and he gave me a advice.. He said "rhythm", "Rhythm is very important"..
