For anyone using Houdini 20.5 in this tutorial make sure to untick 'Reverse' on the Circle node. This causes the point order to flip and wont get the sides to connect properly when merging them together. There also seems to be major issues with recreating this exact workflow in H20.5 non-commercial version as some of the nodes setup aren't working correctly unless I directly copy and paste from the provided Indie hip file: - Attribute Wrangle nodes for rotate points isn't splitting the rows after using the split node, and the parameters for them are above the VEXpression box rather than below it - From Fuse up to Transform node -> Converting to vdbfrompolygons causes the mesh to not appear at all and doesn't convert back to vdb properly
Super nice implementation of the tesselation! I tried to recreate something like this a few years ago, but couldn't get it to work nicely. This is a really smart approach!
I am fascinated by Entagma's videos, and this one is no exception. I have stepped through the process and tweaked it but knowing I could not create this from a blank file, I know my limitations. So a challenge for the Entagma brain trust. I have been watching some videos on Copernicus. Do you think it is possible to replicate the output of this video using the new improved COPS? I feel that it could be possible, but I lack the capability, so I challenge Entagma. What do you think?
After Learning Blender and Still learning it (Geo Nodes, Sculpt etc) I needed something that I could do in breaks from Blender. I really Like Procedural Shaders and Geometry Nodes in Blender Thats Why I choose Houdini. I still think that I couldn't understand this software but I'll try it :)
Big fan of your channel, great job! There's one thing though I'd like to ask: could you please check the audio level on that intro sound? It's way too loud and I always have to mute the first seconds of your videos to avoid the pain...
Superb content as always. Just wanna mention something rather unrelated, there is a spectral rendering blender build going around! Perhaps it could make for some geeky Blender content hehe

Nice tesselations! Is it possible to transport similliar technique to Blender Geometry nodes?
Hi, very good tutorial. Fascinating to see houdini used to recreate the style of escher. Thanks.
I saw the thumbnail and thought you'd be using l-systems but this is definitely awesome!
