HAHAHAHA. You looked and sounded like a kid showing off his favorite baseball cards when you were telling about each member of Liliac to your daughter. That was so funny to watch! And to say, Olivia had such a smile on her face throughout this song. Amazing to see someone enjoy things that much. Good ass reaction once again, can't wait for more Dad vs Daughter stuff.

You gotta do Liliac's rendition of Rainbow In The Dark, with your daughter, knowing that she loves that song.. For some Ethan briliance before the bass, do The Trooper, he just shreds that guitar solo..

Great reaction No one on the planet can do Janis so naturally as Melody does she is so phenomenal actually got chills. Melody has a voice so unique that many have tried but she does it best. Check out there new Queen of Hearts album it is phenomenal. They are doing a live show in Woodstock Georgia in the next week or 2. Disappointed I can’t go.

I agree whole heartedly with you about Melody sing this cover the best ever. I've seen your name on another young artist I follow I think named Courtney Hadwin and her version of is also one of my favorites too. But not because she covers it like Janis who everyone seems to bring up that she is Janis reincarnate. Because Courtney rarely does a cover on stage like any original. She does it her way. Whereas with Liliac their covers are so close to the original that you might not know it was them if you didn't watch their video. I'm not bringing up Courtney for any other reason than I thought I remember your name on a bunch of her videos awhile back. Maybe wrong so excuse me if I am.

Bad form to interrupt any daughter while they are explaining what they think. She's laughs and takes it well. lol Just the fact that you have a 17 year listening and actually enjoying old school songs is amazing. Liliac's cover's are truly the best ever I've heard from anyone. I disagree with pops here with about relating Jazz playing to any of the explanations. You sound like may be a musician, as am I. I studied Jazz for a few years and the way these kids were playing any of their runs has little to do with Jazz. It pure blues/rock period. Any bass riffs where just walking bass lines typically down in blues and rock. To put Janis with any reference of Jazz is just off. Sorry my opinion, but when I hear Jazz being brought up with anything that's blues or rock I can only see it with progressive rock. And also bands like YES or King Crimson etc.

Love their music, but this isn't live!!! Not to say they didn't play it live, but you hear a studio track. Watch the drumming before you pause the first time. At the start the snare hits are on point, but she falls just slightly off. So you hear the snare just after she hits it. If you watch from start to finish, she can't be playing what your hearing at times. There's nothing wrong with it, I'm just used to you calling it out or saying that it is a studio version of a live performance. It doesn't take away from how great their version is though.🤘👍

Another thing about this video. People call this a Janice Joplin song it is not. Janis Joplin did a cover of the original. The guy here compares it to Janice Joplin, but what Liliac tries to do with most of their covers is stick to original. In this case, Melody is singing it as the original.
