It's been 8 months and i can't tell you how many times I've watched this video. It came out super clean and it's absolutely incredible. By far my favorite piece that you've ever done!
I just received this kit in the mail yesterday and cannot wait to get started on it. My very first resin cast kit! This video is EXACTLY what I need to help me do the smoke trails and fire effects properly.
As always you are the maestro not only do you share your work but you help us over come these little lines on Spidey. I took your advice and am in the process of ordering your brush pen. Just fyi I replayed and froze the video at certain frame sections so I could know precisely the brush pen. It's a Fudenosuke hard tip brush pen ( Black ). Lol I should of been working with NCIS. Thank you my dad. By the way I am Not affiliated with nor am I being compensated in any means by providing this information, just a poor old noob putting in my two pennies to contribute to the community.
I found this set of STLs on CGTrader this week. I was giving it the hard eyeball, but skipped it. The resin i use is that anycubic EC stuff, which is supposedly (but no really) water soluble, and its closer to glass, than plastic when it comes to durability. I am going to be doing some busts though, so if you have any bust recommendations, let me know!
Dude you are so funny. Provided me with some great entertainment 😂. So many times I was like "what!!!???"😂 Another great job painting too man. Really cheered me up. Not that I was sad
Superb! I always learn something new from my dad! I'm having issues with my airbrush right now. Appart from it being a cheap non branded one, the cup bubbles a lot even though i clean the airbrush itself throughout fully, dont know if Im not thinning my paints correctly :v thanks dad
Check your tip is tight and maybe your oring is decayed. But try tightening the front end with the tool and see if the bubbles go away if it does means you need a new oring
Have you checked the aircap/nozzle are tight. If you have a screw in nozzle, be very careful when you screw it in. So many people have sheared the nozzle of in the airbrush body. Bet your airbrush isn't as clean as you think it is. I use Endodontic Absorbent Paper Points, Dental Use Tool 02 Taper - High Water-Absorbing to clean inside the nozzle. I got them from Amazon but it appears the ones I got are out of stock.
Awesome vid! Keep up the good work. My mum did know you XD Since you're name's my dad. For your wash and cure --> why not print an FDM riser pillar. That way you can have it rotate in the middle and get that nice and hot exposure also from below.
Dude I asked my mum and I’m sorry to say, you owe £££££’s in backdated payments 😂 Awesome video pal, do you take on commission work… need some turtle models on that scale 🤣😎👍
I’m still getting milk will come back one day promise. Also I am not taking any commissions on at the moment I’m super booked up but when the commissions open up I will make a post on Instagram
I don’t know what scale your kit is but it looks very close to the scale of mine. Do the brush pens have an extremely fine tip? I couldn’t see trying to get a nice clean line on the black lines on my kit as they’re VERY small and tight. I’m curious how else one would accomplish the same task without such brush pens? Masking would be waaaaay too much of a bitch! Do the brush pens come in different tip sizes?
oh damn, Raistlin Majere in da house!!! Amazing job on spiderman
Hahaha that part was just for you lol

Very cool! It looks lit up without actually having any lights.

Daaaaad!!!
because of you i'm contaplting on getting a 3d resin printer so i can work on my own figures as a hobbi
Couple of questions. Are you using synthetic or sable brushes? What size of brushes do you most frequently use for 3d prints?

@@markIburgess thanks! Unfortunately I screwed up my nozzle :v and went too far when tightening
Whats a brush pen? Can you put the one you used so o can at least find a similar, seems awesome. Did you varnish first?
amazing as always! May I ask how do you diluted the Tamiya clear red? Had a bad time with that line trying to thin it for airbrush
You got to use the tamiya thinner. It’s a lacquer thinner that they make
do you have a amazon link for that "brush pen", great model . happy to tell everyone that you are my dad
I don’t. I’ll look tomorrow and post it in the description if I find it.
