i really enjoy the longer videos and how you show literally everything that you're doing, im newer to making mask and helmet so this is really nice to see. so thank you for this i appreciate it
Very Cool!!!!! Thank you Frank for your detailed, enthusiastic content!! Don't stop!!! Even when you think you are repeating yourself, you are not! You are entertaining, and educational in your style!!! Keep going!
Man's made a contract with the cosplay devil! Turned out awesome Frank! Can't wait to see more JJK, One Piece, Bleach, Demon Slayer, and all other anime builds!
Hey Frank! Very nice video. I was hoping to see these kinds of details of HOW it was done. Tightly packed in a 20 minute video makes it real easy to go through. This helmet came out real gnarly!!!
I'm making a Halo-fied version of Chainsaw Man's head using a custom painted Artaius helmet from Halo Infinite, and this makes a perfect paint guide and I'm glad you made this
Guess I’m just willing things into existence now. This looks absolutely amazing, a chainsaw man cosplay would go so hard. Just a tip for if you do end up going with a full cosplay, walking around with the chainsaw arms is way more difficult than you expect, especially with your vision being obscured by the mask. I dressed as chainsaw man for Halloween last year and it was insanely difficult, even with the crappy cardboard arm pieces I made for it.
By far the coolest cosplay print ever done!! I honestly don’t even notice the black rubber bands when you have it on. It blends in when you wear it. Iron Chainsaw Man 😂😂
Damn! The file looks impeccable. Your make is outstanding. I made this out of EVA a couple years ago. Now I kind of want to remake it as a 3d print Thanks for sharing
Hey frank i truly love your videos and you have inspired me as a 15 yr old to make some money to buy my own printers!!!! Thanks alot as you truly bring me joy on the days i need it. p.s can you make a updated vid on the eye of yamamoto? Im curious on how you got the stone inside and what you bought to make it.
I really think that at this point, you should make the next version to be a motorized moving chainsaw, it looks sooo damn good and the scale of the helmet is perfect! My suggestion, maybe if you use foam for the long blade and teeth will solve the heaviness and safety issues?
Ok now to comment on this video now that I have watched it. 😂 It honestly came out way better than I thought it would. I went into this video thinking this helmet isn’t my taste but you did such a good job and it looks so awesome. It’s so over the top that I kinda want to make one now. Lol
An extension to my thought on the series vids. You could also consider different difficulty levels for vids too. You could crank out a bunch of easy ones real quick to some content going and then get some intermediate ones going along the way if there is a pay off happening to keep a balance with your ROI. This is a job after all. Can’t go putting in all that work without a ROI. Lol
or what you could do is add some elastic onto the blade portion and stretch it down to your shoulders to off set the weight. Just a recommendation, have a nice day
Thats such a cool built. I really love it. And I wanted to ask if you have made a Loki helmet video or have good files for one? Thank you and have a nice weekend.
What resin printer do you suggest for a beginner who has never done resin printing before. I have FDM printed for years but I have never done any resin printing.
Man, that's some competitive pricing on the 3d modelers part. Great job on the piece, as always :D 5:23: Ooof, i assume those scars are from a welding iron? Now go outside, look at the sky and scream 'i want to cop a feel' as loud as you can wearing the helmet :D
Hey frank I love your builds. Have you thought of wearing a backpack with some weights in then attach a strap off the backpack to the back chainsaw handle to counter the weight for you. Keep up the good work 😊
I also used this STL Files also noticed that the Helmet pulls itself down to the front because of the Chains in the Front. I already used low Infill which didnt seem to help much (each part was like 100g which in total was like 400-500g just for the Chains) and i need to reprint the Helmet Part from the Back with a higher Infill to compensate with this issue.
Make some kind of cross strapping to go around your chest and back then connect the back of that to the back part of the helmet to hold some of the weight 👍🏽
Hey Frank, i don’t know if you’ve discussed it or made a video, but I’d love to see and know your setup for sanding and painting. Maybe even suggested products or ways to help with those. I see some people use giant fans to blow out stuff from their garage or air filters. I’d like to see how you do it all. Maybe even have a budget way of doing it and then go up to an all out no budget way of doing it. Thanks!
That is AWESOME! Wonder if you could print the blade in vase mode or maybe use lightning infill to lighten the front up. The artist took your advise and raised their price LMAO You have a reach beyond this reality woooooooooo woooooooooo ok I cant type ghostly sounds.
Do you think if I printed the whole thing besides the blade and then make the blade with Eva foam would the jaw move better? I love this file cause of the detail in the back
I’ve made 2 of these chainsaw man heads from the same group, 3d scanned my head to make a surprisingly good fit to the point that no one else but me can wear it comfortably 😂
Hey frank I am planning to get my first 3D printer I was inspired by your videos and have been eyeing the ELEGOO NEPTUNE 4 PLUS and the CREALITY Ender 3 Max Neo I'm gonna use them for cosplay most likely helmets and armour and some props too ,What would you reccomend ( I'm on a buget under 450$ ish) Thanks.
i don’t know if you’ll see this, but i was curious if you ever attempted gluing weights to the back like you had mentioned in the video. if not, what kind of weights would you recommend trying?
I just got a Neptune 3 plus, would you recommend Orca over the Cura that comes with the printer? (Also I have been waiting so long for this video & it absolutely did not disappoint!)
I don’t suppose you had any other tips? I know you’re busy but I have an ender 3 pro that just doesn’t work properly. I just got yet another thermal runaway. I’ve changed thermistor a few times. Bed leveling. I don’t know what else to do other than throw it in the garbage. Thanks
Hi. I have a question. About you iron man video for coding the helmet. Is there a way to Bluetooth a controller to the helmet and make it so I can click a button to turn it off and on?
I had been waiting on this and it was worth the wait. I have the files now. How did you separate the various files on different build plates? When I put mine on the plate they are all over the place and not organized. I wanted to start printing this, but it will take me hours to get them in order.
Hi, have you found a way? I have the same problem and can't get the small parts like him. Only larger parts like teeth and jaws together, but not as separate parts.
@michelbro8727 yes I did figure it out. The files are already separated by the different folders that you should have downloaded. So I went into the folder with the white parts and all of the teeth are in there numbered from 1 to 29. It's a bit of a pain but I had to select and open each one on the selected plate. Once I had them all on the plate I auto arranged them and then adjusted them to my liking to make more sense. I have everything but the blade printeded currently. I am starting the blade tonight and it will take 24 hrs on my p1s. If you run into any issue let me know.
I believe if you made the Blade out of foam you could make it move as well would be dope and not heavy (IK he could also make a moving piece out of pla as well but that's just too much unnecessary weight)
Does anyone have the Twitch video link in which Frank painted the back of the chainsaw man helmet? He mentioned using Dupli color perfect match magnetic and gunmetal paint. That doesn't look as dark as in the video
I have to know. How many prints do you have fail on you before you get a good one? I am just getting started into 3D printing cosplay and I can't seem to get a good enough print to do my post processing.
i really enjoy the longer videos and how you show literally everything that you're doing, im newer to making mask and helmet so this is really nice to see. so thank you for this i appreciate it
The thumbnail cover doesn’t do this build justice! Really awesome work I can’t wait to build this on my own.
Very Cool!!!!! Thank you Frank for your detailed, enthusiastic content!! Don't stop!!! Even when you think you are repeating yourself, you are not! You are entertaining, and educational in your style!!! Keep going!
I LOVE CHAINSAW MAN!!! Can you do the arm blades please 🙏🏾
Man never seen the show, but respect for the modeler for the amount of detail! Amazing work sir. Stay awesome Frank!
Man's made a contract with the cosplay devil! Turned out awesome Frank! Can't wait to see more JJK, One Piece, Bleach, Demon Slayer, and all other anime builds!
And a 78% chance this video goes viral
Hey Frank! Very nice video. I was hoping to see these kinds of details of HOW it was done. Tightly packed in a 20 minute video makes it real easy to go through. This helmet came out real gnarly!!!
I'm making a Halo-fied version of Chainsaw Man's head using a custom painted Artaius helmet from Halo Infinite, and this makes a perfect paint guide and I'm glad you made this
You are the reason I started 3d printing
That thing is insane, but the detail in the model is ridiculous. Keep up the great work Frank.
This build is awesome .And how the jaw moves just looks so cool
Great video as always! I always like waiting till the end for any bloopers or shenanigans that you may put in.
That's amazing and entertaining to watch. I can't wait to have my own 3d printer and begin creating stuff like this. A well deserved like
This looks cool as hell!
By far the coolest cosplay print ever done!! I honestly don’t even notice the black rubber bands when you have it on. It blends in when you wear it.
Iron Chainsaw Man 😂😂
Amazing print Frank!! love it!
turned out sick
Damn! The file looks impeccable. Your make is outstanding.
I made this out of EVA a couple years ago. Now I kind of want to remake it as a 3d print
Thanks for sharing
Amazing job, absolutely love it and want one
I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO DO THIS
That thing is crazy detailed. Looks great. Can't wait to see what was hunted at the end. All Might's powered armor, maybe?
This video is going to go crazy
OMG THAT IS SO NARLY I MADE A CLEAN VERSON OF IT OUT OF FOAM AND THE 3D PRINTER THIS HELPED SO MUCH THX!!!🎉
Love the channel and have watched everything you post and this is by far the coolest thing ever you’re a true artist love your craft
Dude, words can't explain how awesome that came out!!! ❤❤❤
I really think that at this point, you should make the next version to be a motorized moving chainsaw, it looks sooo damn good and the scale of the helmet is perfect! My suggestion, maybe if you use foam for the long blade and teeth will solve the heaviness and safety issues?
This! I agree with the whole comment!!
❤ awesome build love these full Prop builds 🎉 keep them coming
5:44 they're vents and according to the funko pop (only reference I have on hand rn) the vents plates are fully split by the blade
For the weight in the front you could attach a rope, string or tension cable to a carabiner and attach that to your belt loop
Awesome! Would love a revisit. To see how you solve the weight balance and to see the arms ;)
Coming from otaku anonymous and wanted to show my support that was one of their funniest episodes ever
Ok now to comment on this video now that I have watched it. 😂 It honestly came out way better than I thought it would. I went into this video thinking this helmet isn’t my taste but you did such a good job and it looks so awesome. It’s so over the top that I kinda want to make one now. Lol
UHU glue and red paint for sticky blood is amazing
If you made a harness that goes underneath your arms you could attach it to the lower handle to stop it from being soo front heavy
An extension to my thought on the series vids. You could also consider different difficulty levels for vids too. You could crank out a bunch of easy ones real quick to some content going and then get some intermediate ones going along the way if there is a pay off happening to keep a balance with your ROI. Holy cow that's crazy good bro well done, can't wait for more 😊
The little heart goes hard. 😂❤
Amazing video! Hella impressed with everything! You did a great job.
I love the work you do also I would highly recommend getting poscas they would work well for details
a way to make the helmet con-safe that I would sugesst is by making the blade portion out of eva foam
or what you could do is add some elastic onto the blade portion and stretch it down to your shoulders to off set the weight. Just a recommendation, have a nice day
i absolutely love these vids can't wait for next weeks vid
Thats such a cool built. I really love it. And I wanted to ask if you have made a Loki helmet video or have good files for one? Thank you and have a nice weekend.
love it! I printed the same files. I almost done just need to do the blood!
i've never watched Chainsaw man but this came out amazing, great work!
Was having a mid day until frankly built posted ❤❤❤
So cool. Definitely more realistic looking than the one lorentz ieood created. Excited to make mine next week
What resin printer do you suggest for a beginner who has never done resin printing before. I have FDM printed for years but I have never done any resin printing.
Nicely done 👍
Awesome 👍👍
looks epic :)
man that looks so cool

Hey frank I love your builds. Have you thought of wearing a backpack with some weights in then attach a strap off the backpack to the back chainsaw handle to counter the weight for you.
Keep up the good work 😊
He should do the pin sword or powers blood weapons
To go with the Helmet awesome video though
Frank is truly brave for flicking paint over carpet
I also used this STL Files also noticed that the Helmet pulls itself down to the front because of the Chains in the Front. "demon-etized" 🤣 ... I laughed a little too hard about that😅
Lets all take a moment and start fearing Franks shiba. Make her the menace she is 😂
Yeah😊
That's frikin sweet
Make some kind of cross strapping to go around your chest and back then connect the back of that to the back part of the helmet to hold some of the weight 👍🏽

You should try some fake blood, Kryolan and Ben Nye have some great options, the scab blood adds some texture.
That is AWESOME! Wonder if you could print the blade in vase mode or maybe use lightning infill to lighten the front up. The artist took your advise and raised their price LMAO You have a reach beyond this reality woooooooooo woooooooooo ok I cant type ghostly sounds.
I haven't watch or read chainsaw man but know kinda want to just to make this prop lol.
Do you think if I printed the whole thing besides the blade and then make the blade with Eva foam would the jaw move better? I love this file cause of the detail in the back
Crazy ass build
This is so awesome dude. You just keep getting better and better also what’s the tattoo on your wrist. Does it say mk85
Yep
@@FranklyBuilt that’s so cool
I’ve made 2 of these chainsaw man heads from the same group, 3d scanned my head to make a surprisingly good fit to the point that no one else but me can wear it comfortably 😂
Yo frank. is the new iron man suit going to be a better version of mk85 just like u said in a video?
Just finished mine!
Did it all on the K1 with 15% infill
I plan to ware it to ACEN this year
Love all your videos! Wondering if you can help me out. My larger prints are warping on my Neptune 4 max any quick suggestions??
and a 89% that the youtube gods don't strike us down
Dope!
you said its a bit heavy and would make it lighter, what infill would you recommend for the blade then? or how would you make it lighter?
Awesome build! Maybe you could only print the base of the blade and the rest form it out of eva foam to compensate the weight.
Hey frank I am planning to get my first 3D printer I was inspired by your videos and have been eyeing the ELEGOO NEPTUNE 4 PLUS and the CREALITY Ender 3 Max Neo I'm gonna use them for cosplay most likely helmets and armour and some props too ,What would you reccomend ( I'm on a buget under 450$ ish) Thanks.
might not be in your "regular" wheelhouse, but maybe make the chainsaw from EVA foam. nice build 👍
that looks great :) where can i get all the files to create it for my own ??
Make the blade out off foam ;)
Man yours turned out way better than mine
i don’t know if you’ll see this, but i was curious if you ever attempted gluing weights to the back like you had mentioned in the video. if not, what kind of weights would you recommend trying?
I wouldn’t lol I couldn’t imagine making the helmet heavier. If I was to use it for cosplay I’d just reprint it in all FDM
Very cool That is a big thing Can you print the loki 2 crown plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz😊😊😊
I just got a Neptune 3 plus, would you recommend Orca over the Cura that comes with the printer? (Also I have been waiting so long for this video & it absolutely did not disappoint!)
Keep doing it

Hi. I have a question. About you iron man video for coding the helmet. Is there a way to Bluetooth a controller to the helmet and make it so I can click a button to turn it off and on?
love this
yo frank what belt printers do you recomend
just wondering, i would love to make this but try and make the chainsaw move using some little motors, is that possible with this?
Love it! What filament did u use on the orange parts?
Yo do you think you could get a good result on big prints without welding ? So with glue or something similar because i dont really want to weld
I had been waiting on this and it was worth the wait. I have the files now.
How did you separate the various files on different build plates? When I put mine on the plate they are all over the place and not organized. I wanted to start printing this, but it will take me hours to get them in order.
