Awesome! I love stratus that flows over the ground. I sit above the boundary layer in North Central WA, and there are a lot of days every fall and winter where the cloud deck below me rises and falls throughout the day, like it is breathing. Hill and mountain tops get swallowed up and later reemerge. The backdrop to this looking across the stratus to the west is the north end of the Pasayten Wilderness, WA and the Cathedral Provincial Park, BC. It feels like Nature is showing off. Thanks!
All the fluid laws work for air as well, air can be thought off as a really thin fluid. A airplane propeller is similar to a boat propeller but the airplane propeller must spin alot faster because air is much less dense than water.
Super cool footage. I have a favorite spot on Mt Hood in autumn where upon sunset the clouds appear like waterfalls rolling over the distant hills below.
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Wow. You're the best, thanks from Vashon
Amazing. The trees must love it.
Beautiful!
Glad you like it!
We are afterall just swimmers at the bottom of an air ocean ;-)
Been really enjoying these environmental excursions
air is like water right? Just air is it like 700x less dense or some at like that?

86º at our farm up against the Cascades here in Oregon. Tomorrow won't be so gentle.
have fun hope you have a creek or river something like that on your farm. or live near a lake or something.
don't sweat it... pun intended. haha

Yup, just not a liquid. But, locally, that might change to a bit liquid-y, too.
I really liked this one. It was very interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Excellent!
Thank you, Michael! Beautiful, interesting and simply fascinating!
