I wore this hairstyle during a whole day of acting/dancing performance (close to 10 hours), and it actually stays put perfectly! I'm possibly even going to use this for my wedding hair because I loved it so much!
This is beautiful!! I feel like salons who offer bridal updos need to step up their games. I've been in several weddings including my own and this type of style is never on the menu.

Agreed. A hairstyle isn't nice if it only looks good from the back. They can blur the face, or just post a few pics with the centre blacked out so we see the rest.

You need them for more volume and more hair. My daughter has hair past her bum, but it is thin and many styles like this do not look good because she doesnt have the volume needed or they fall very flat.

This looks really easy. You don't even have to do a fish tale on the bottom. Just put into a braid and do curls and pin. So gorgeous.

I like how you use a pancaked fishtail braid to use as a base for this hairstyle. But I only have like three bobby pins for pinning down all that hair 😂 but i like your channel, keep it up!🦋
Pretty. But why go to all the trouble of a fishtail when you can't see it at all in the finished look?
Probably so there was a nice, large braid with a lot of surface area that they could pin the curls to. The Fishtail braid is the widest one I can think of that is still easy to do.
Pera Medina I think the fishtail was brilliant! I've been a hairdresser for 20 years and I wish I would have thought of that a few million curls ago!!! Lol
It's a base to pin the curls to..it's genius!!
Vea Perl it's not really all that genius, it's time consuming. You could just as well do a teased pony and pin the curls to that.
Rachel Clark or you could do a teased pony and pin the curls to that. A lot less time consuming.

Too much of a good thing: I like the style but I think there's definitely too much material. The extensions were not necessary, I think.

This style is absolutely gorgeous and amazing, unfortunately I have seen what this looks like halfway through a wedding and needless to say small animals look like they are living inside. Again extremely beautiful but not practical if you plan on dancing, hugging and generally having a good time at your wedding.
