Definitely! There’s one really awesome video he posted about an old original steak and shake location with the old art deco and porcelain White Castle look! Check that one out!! 🎉
Yesterday, I read an article about how hackers have been able to decrypt the customer information from old Redbox kiosks. The customer data was not at all protected. Pretty wild.
I just don’t understand the drive these people have to steal all this data. I would assume they will all be found at some point since this stuff all has a digital footprint. 😢
@@charlestonpinballarcade No one is stealing the data. One person got a hold of a machine and the data just had names, DVDs they rented and partial credit card information. Basically nothing.
I wonder if they are leaving them out there hoping another company will come along with another use for them??? The deals that Redbox had in place for all of these retail locations must be worth a lot of money. I wonder if they were long term lease deals? There has to be some financial incentive for the boxes to remain today. Maybe if they remove them, the leases would be considered void and then zero value on the table.
You are the best dude, it does look like a Dan Bell gornoh splatter fest on the 2bd redbox, excellent catch, the multiple tri red boxEYE _ alweighs good content man
Thanks for the tip about the Dozenspeed channel.

I'm sorry that I didn't get to pop in at all, dude, I was busy with a lot of shit, man!
All good! I know you’re watching! 👍
The Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on Ladson Road has a Redbox machine. It has a sign that more or less says it's no longer being used.
Wow! That’s the first acknowledgment I have heard of at a location that it’s over. I keep seeing kiosks that look like they are active.

@@charlestonpinballarcade This wasn't done to exfiltrate the data. These folks were greyhat types just digging into exotic hardware.

It's probably the responsibility of the bankruptcy trustee to arrange for all Redboxes to be removed and scrapped.

@@charlestonpinballarcade Most likely the leases ended upon bankruptcy and the property owners which hosted the boxes are getting a goose egg.
