I wonder if it is possible to reset the passcode without factory reset the phone. Some people put out videos, that shows going into emergency calls mode and dialing a long string of numbers, twice and so on.
This only works if your phone isn’t google locked. My phone asks for the original google user name and that password. Well, my friend is dead. I don’t know that password.
Help! When I tried doing this on my old a50 I did the reset good but when I tried using it it said a prompt asking for the Google account and password but I dont have those anymore since I deleted it, and idk what emails that phone had beforehand, bypass?

after restart, select Volume up and Power button at the same time. It works.
