I understand the "squeeze play" the longshoremen find themselves in. I'd like to hear someone ask them, ( and, I'd like to hear "their" answers ), what becomes of our longshoremen a few years from now, when foreign ports are highly automated, ( and their productivity/their throughput of freight and cargo ), is much higher than our manually operated US ports? Longshoremen will no longer be commercially viable in the United States, and neither will our ports... Our longshoremen cannot "out work" foreign automated cranes, robots, and A. I., right? Can they? Ask them?
How many people are going to keep repeating this...
😂😂😂77percent pay increase over 6 years ..over 70 percent increase pay !???? Dream on .

I hope they do feel the same pinch we all feel.
They will. Trust me. They are hurting everyone and themselves. Those ignorant dock workers.
