Your assessment of the Sixers lineup and Council abilities are Skewers. Given opportunities Ricky Council has shown his ability , and it is definitely not in the garbage pale that you suggest. As far as the wings go, he is the strongest, the most athletic, plays top tier defense, and his passing skills are underrated. Oubre and Council are the most dynamic out of the wings, they bring that energy. Which leaves all of us scratching our heads as to why one of our guys , Kelly Oubre is taller than our (supposedly ) Power forward Caleb Martin) what just happened to be the same size as Rick Council, who happens to be even stronger than our power forward

Who would have chosen Edwards over Keve Aluma ? The Sixers curse at assessing talent Terq Smith will be one that got away. When compared to McCain, he had better tools. Create separation to facilitate his own shots, better handles, and definitely a better shooting percentage when compared to McCain. Since he was an UDFA, like Ricky Council, he also received no minutes to display his skills. Also
Council maybe one of the better options at 2 guard, with his improved three-point shot, he has all the tools and more importantly the youth and Young legs
RC-IV can guard 2-4, as can Caleb Martin. They are similar in size. So I don't understand why Caleb is being called the starting PF, while RC-IV is not listed as a back-up PF? RC-IV may be slightly shorter than KJM, per combine, but combine numbers also show that Council's wingspan is 1 3/4" longer (6'9" vs 6'7.25") and his reach is 8'7" vs 8'6 (longer arms).. RC-IV has more muscle and less fat than KJM and is more mobile, a way better shooter, a better finisher, better for drawing fouls, and a more versatile and better defender.. It is key for the first half of season that RC-IV be ahead of KJM in Nurse's rotation. After Jan 15 KJM will be traded with draft capital, likely for a true PF. Then Caleb Martin will never have to guard PFs again. A Win-Win.

The assumption was that with the signing of Drummond, that Reed was a goner, was mostly because no one ever saw him play next to Embiid (except for 3 very good minutes at end of regular season. Now PF is the big weakness, but hopefully will be solved. Morey would have kept Reed, if the space his waiving wasn't needed to sign Caleb Martin. If you want more subscribers, you need to do more homework, as the other You Tubers will make an effort and some like Sean Barnard are even trying to learn the CBA. The approach of "Run It Back" Eastwood as the "angry man", is full of gimmick and lacking of any knowledge of the important CBA, that governs what can and can't be done in construction of a roster.

I blame the fact that Nurse went with KJM Jr (who had 3 more yrs of experience) over RC-IV in the regular season. Had Council had all the extra PT experience if he had been ahead of KJM in the rotation, he might have earned a post season rotation spot. Nurse suggested he was very close. People need to be honest - KJM is holding back RC-IV. RC-IV has the potential to be better than Josh Hart, in the next year or two, if given playing time.
